OceanaGold are seeking a highly professional and motivated System Analyst – Success Factors to join our Digital Technology Team. Based in either our Melbourne or Brisbane offices and reporting to the Senior System Analyst – IT, you will partner with cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure design, implementation and support of end-to-end business application solution SAP Payroll. Your ability to gather technical documentation as well as build and deploy business models, in addition to providing ongoing daily support and payroll bug fixes, will ensure your success in this challenging and rewarding appointment. 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead the functional delivery of SAP Payroll system upgrades and enhancements.
• Ensure all business requirements and functional designs are understood and delivered.
• Interpret systems specifications to develop, maintain and support reporting solutions.
• Create & manage functional documentation as well as perform unit testing and sign-off on system integration testing.
• Perform user training and interface with business application users at all levels to ensure all customer requirements are captured and understood.
• Manage the change and release management of Payroll developments, patch updates and upgrades.
• Respond to and address user requests via ticketing process preferable to have experience in Service now.
• Develop long term partnerships with business partners and vendors.

Your day-to-day...

• Provides professional, timely and effective IT support including software, hardware and network support as well as the identification and resolution of IT troubleshooting activities.
• Delivers a high level of customer service that is proactive, cooperative and dependable by analysing user needs and developing rapport with clients.
• Provides responsive and timely phone and/or face-to-face assistance to customers in resolving a range of hardware, software or network-related problems.
• Procures equipment and ensures it is appropriately labelled and tracked in the asset management inventory.
• Follows change management and incident management processes to ensure service continuity and KPIs are met.

What you’ll bring..

• 3-4 years experience in an MSP or a corporate business as a Senior Desktop support or System administrator role.
•  Demonstrated ability to manage incidents and requests in a Windows and Mac environment to a high level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of  Windows deployment methodology and deployment technologies  (SCCM,  network boot).
•  knowledge of core Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory (Azure O365 and on-prem).
• Exposure to Mobile Device Management and Enterprise Mobility applications and platforms.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of customers, peers and management.
•  Knowledge and experience in a wide range of computer applications and/or application suites including but not limited to, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft O365 suite, Azure Active Directory, Confluence, Jira service desk, Slack, Teams and Teams calling, Intune, Autopilot.

Role

In this role you will:

• Provide onsite desktop and IT infrastructure support to our customers across Brisbane
• Be involved in occasional project work to deploy solutions
• Experience opportunities to install and configure Servers, Networking and other IT equipment
• Be exposed to account management, VOIP, technical presales, and other areas
• Work with highly experienced Engineers and Technical Account Managers to maintain best practice environments
• Work across technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, backup systems and software

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft AD, Exchange, Azure and Office 365 environments coupled with your generalist networking skills
• Excellent written and spoken English, with a great phone manner.
• Great attention to detail and time management skills.
• Experience working with an IT outsourcer or service provider. (Desired)
