About the Role (your why)

Due to continued growth within our team, we have a newly created role in the Sydney area. Working as a Desktop Support Engineer you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of End User Services to Datacom’s customers. Aligned to our customers business requirements, we provide tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/ fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.

This role will be based on-site in Sydney. Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, no visa sponsorships provided.

Please note that this current opportunity is for a 12-month, full time fixed-term contract.

What you’ll do

At the moment, as Desktop Support Engineer you will be focused on:

• Providing excellent technical support in a high-paced environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.
• Assisting new users with their IT hardware collection and setup.
• Ensuring new equipment, such as Laptops and Mobile phones, are up to date and deployment ready prior to release to customers
• Recording all customer contacts in the appropriate ITSM tool
• Keeping commitments to customers with regard to progress updates
• Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
• Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure as directed
• Initiate and drive service and process improvement

What you’ll bring

Required experience:

• Exceptional customer experience with regard to end user services
• The ability to prioritise work to ensure achievement of all service level agreements
• Sound knowledge of Laptops, Desktop PC's, printers, media and audio-visual equipment, BYOD and mobility

Nice to have:

• You will bring excellent verbal and written communication and have the ability to articulate technical information to the target audience. Your professional customer service will be second to none, and you will have the ability to work autonomously with excellent time management.

About the role
This exciting 12-month opportunity has arisen due to an internal transfer and can be undertaken in ACT/NSW/QLD/SA/VIC/WA. As a Commercial Analyst, reporting to the Solution Delivery Manager, you will help create and deliver quotations for software licensing, renewals, and related professional services. You will work with technical and sales teams to ensure accurate quotes that meet client needs for both new and existing Konica Minolta customers. Additionally, you will develop and review pricing plans to boost revenue and stay competitive. You will also help prepare forecast reports, compare them with estimates and actual results, and identify any differences.

In consultation with key stakeholders, your primary responsibilities will be:

• Support the delivery of quotation of software solution licensing, software renewals and related Professional Services. Work closely with technical and sales teams to prepare and deliver accurate quotations ensuring all client requirements are met
• Maintain up-to-date records of all quotation-related documents and data. Distribute these materials to relevant stakeholders and ensure the accuracy and availability of pricing tools
• Develop and analyse pricing strategies to optimise revenue and stay competitive
• Assist in preparing forecast reports, and track against estimates and actuals and identify variances
• Liaise with software vendors & internal Marketing teams on pricing arrangements
• Support ad-hoc reporting and manage data administration as required
• Help respond to requests for proposals and requests for information from prospects & customers
• Support Professional Services Team and customer throughout the sales cycle as required

Knowledge, Experience & Requirements

• Ideally industry knowledge in pricing, sales process, Professional Services or Information Technology
• Advantageous to have a working understanding of Print Management Software Solutions, however not essential as training will be provided
• Desire to learn Enterprise Software Applications such as SAP/CRM, SharePoint – which will be the tools you will be utilising to fulfil your role.
• Intermediate ability in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Ability to think critically and problem solve
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Great interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks with competing deadlines
