We are looking for someone who will become a subject matter expert across our digital marketplace ‘caravancampingsales store’ and help build its growth by attracting and converting new customers who journey through the digital platform as well as assist in existing orders.

Demonstrating adaptability by understanding and effectively responding to evolving situations, diverse customer needs, and emerging technologies within the customer service realm. Experience in resolving customer pain points is essential to the successful delivery of enhancements and initiatives that service to create a better customer experience.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this is your opportunity to assist our customers through their journey and support them with their needs, driving both customer satisfaction and loyalty in a positive direction. 

• Share expertise to provide exceptional customer support and assistance across multiple channels, such as phone, email, web and live chat. 
• Maintain day to day operations of the Success Team through tasks such as advert approvals, fraud identification, adjacent product support and administrative tasks.  
• Understand and share expertise in resolving customer pain points is essential to the successful delivery of enhancements and initiatives that service to create a better customer experience. 
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for answering inbound customer service queries (voice and digital).
• Develop and support solutions that take a proactive approach to customer resolution.

What you will be doing

As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team in a scrum setting and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.

• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

• Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.

• Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc.

• Identifies and documents business strategies, objectives and drivers.

• Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.

• Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.

• Re-engineers processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.

• Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.

• Uses knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop or modify complex information systems.

• Writes test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.

• Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct.

• Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.

• Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.

• Reports and reviews testing results.

What you bring

• Exposure to Payments/Credit Cards systems or other similar systems is a plus

• Techno-Functional experience in doing BA responsibilities

• Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, Visio, MS Access, etc.

• Proficiency in industry-standard process methodologies, e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO, CMM, etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors

• Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources

As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our product team and looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Melbourne office. We are looking for a great communicator and collaborator with experience working in Agile teams to deliver world-class digital products for our sporting clients.

You will be client facing and work as part of a cross functional team including designers, product managers, technologists and quality assurance engineers. The types of projects are varied, from websites and apps to marketing and data-focused products.

You will typically work in one of two phases:

- Discovery: helping our clients shape large digital products and technology projects, understanding the scope, technology and delivery approach, as well as the business case and rationale for investment. The nature of these projects varies significantly depending on the product, technology and client, but they always require a curious and diligent mindset, and a focus on ensuring we are bringing clarity to complex opportunities.

- Delivery: working as part of a team to build and deploy products for our clients. In this type of project, you will typically be responsible for running workshops and creating documentation and user stories ready for development. You will also be working closely with the engineers and testers to ensure the work delivered aligns with expectations.

This role requires an individual who brings energy, pragmatism and critical thinking to our clients, and you will also need to have a relentless focus on where client and customer value is. The role is hybrid remote, with two days per week in our office (located in Melbourne Central Tower) or at client offices desirable.

• A good level of experience in a business analysis role, with previous experience ideally in an agency/consulting context.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, and directly with clients.
• Experience in utilising and implementing core digital technologies including CMS, CRM, VMS, data warehouse & middleware systems.
• A passion for digital products and technology, strong problem-solving skills with a flair for finding innovative solutions.
• Competent in utilising documentation and diagramming tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Lucidchart / VIsio.
• A working knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG, and experience including specific accessibility requirements in user stories, would be beneficial. 
• Experience in viewing, querying and analysing data using tools such as Azure Data Studio, Power BI and Postman.
• Ability to quickly break down big blocks of product and functionality into the required, outcome-based user stories.
• Ability to switch gears quickly as you continuously engage with business representatives, executives, project managers, designers, developers and QA resources.
