Purpose

As an Application Support Analyst, you will provide technical support and guidance to our clients by answering their requests & addressing incidents regarding both server-side and client-side applications, by delivering advanced technical and troubleshooting skills, communication abilities, problem solving orientation, and computer proficiency on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:
Respond to client problems (phone/portal) and actively monitor client sites:

• Log and document all incidents within a ticketing system and problems within JIRA;
• Investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, identify known errors;
• Refer incidents to other parties when an incident is beyond your current skill-set;
• Proactively monitor, document and fix problems or anomalies found at our clients’ installations;
• Manage and exceed customers’ expectation by providing excellent service;
• Ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) are met and delivered according to Support specifications;
• Versatility to shift & occasional pager scheduling;
• Participate in sharing knowledge and publishing Knowledge articles

At FCX the Senior Test Analyst key purpose is to ensure quality in what we deliver to our customers on the FCX platform. They achieve their purpose by collaborating with business users, end users and technology teams to understand what quality means, educating others of the importance and executing on what is required to ensure they are adhered to.

This specific Senior Test Analyst position will see you work within a team of 15 which consists of BA's, PM's, Software Engineers, Product Owners and Client Relationship Managers. This role is also part of and supported by the FinClear group which consist of over 180 employees, 70 specifically in tech. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with business, operations, vendors and other stakeholders for test planning and execution.
• Collaborating with the Lead Test Analyst to provide input into improving testing processes, plans, implementation and the management of defects.
• Providing guidance and oversight on the administration of the test case management software.
• Creating and executing System Integration tests (SIT) and User acceptance tests (UAT), including obtaining Business signoff.
• Designing and Implementing Test Cases for end-to-end and integration testing.
• Designing, developing, executing and maintaining automation scripts and our suite of regression tests.
• Producing system test deliverables i.e. test cases, automated test scripts, and test data to the agreed quality
• Testing defect fixes and log new defects including relevant details
• Automation of regression testing pack to perform end-to-end system and shakedown tests
• Test Environment planning, setup and management to help with readiness for test commencement.
• Assisting with release management and post release validation checks and reporting.
• Leveraging Tools including Cypress, Jest, Cucumber, SQL, Jira and Confluence.
