About The Role:

As a Senior Systems Support Analyst you will provide support for assigned production-related systems for major banking and payments clients. This role could be based in Sydney or Melbourne and will see you working within the local Application Support Group and collaborating with global colleagues you will also:

• Provide on-call support for HP Non-Stop Systems and proprietary applications

• Develop and execute scripts and test plans

• Conduct software analysis related to debugging, resolving issues and modifications

• Liaise with internal clients, vendors and global colleagues to resolve issues and deliver results

• Providing rostered on-call 24/7 support to clients (around 1 week per month)

What You Will Need:

• HP Non Stop systems experience is essential for this role

• Previous experience in a Systems Support role with sound experience in programming languages and application development methodologies

• Ability to understand in-house applications

• Knowledge and experience with primary database engines with demonstrated ability to write complex queries for data validation and troubleshooting

• Experience with a wide range of interface design, development and debugging tools, techniques and methodologies

• Knowledge of testing tools and quality control requirements

Bonus if You Have:

• Experience in the banking or Financial Services sector

At BlueScope, we are embarking on a transformative journey to revolutionise our technology strategy and employee experience, with a primary focus on the global implementation of Workday. This significant initiative will be executed through a carefully planned, multi-phased approach.

We will commence this journey in Australia, leveraging our Australian business as the initial phase to establish a strong foundation. Over the next two years, we will progressively expand the implementation to our international operations, ensuring a seamless transition and integration across our global businesses.

We are searching for a Business Analyst to join our project team.  This will be a 9 month fixed term role and is to start mid October and can be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

The role

The Business Analyst for BlueScope’s Workday HCM Implementation will play a pivotal role in ensuring that relevant HR business processes are understood and mapped.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes and workflows.
• Support the project team across key elements of the project.
• Undertake analysis and documentation of new and revised business processes.
• Ensure processes are clearly documented including workflows, roles, and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather process requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand current state of process with a view to mapping future state.
• Ensure any corrections to requirements or processes are made as a result of issues identified in testing.

We have a great opportunity to work within a fast moving, collaborative People and Culture Team where you will use and apply expertise in People and Culture policy, processes, administration, and systems to support our business. As a P&C Operations Analyst you will be providing administrative support to the employee life cycle, including on-boarding, off-boarding, HRIS management, contract management reporting and compliance, amongst other tasks.

You will also support a range of other P&C processes including remuneration and benefits, acquisitions, system implementations and have the opportunity to participate in a range of different projects and committees across the business.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication and internal network building skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing information in a professional, discreet and confidential manner.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package, including Word, Excel, Outlook and experience working with HR technology platforms such as SAP Success Factors and HROnboard
• Experience working in a reactive, deadline driven environment and team
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience within a people and culture administrative role, ideally with experience in writing employment contracts and employment-related correspondence, confirmation of employment, HRIS management (organisation changes, salary, performance review), maintaining employee files and management of a shared mailbox (acting as a first point of contact for people and culture enquiries, escalating to the greater People and Culture team where necessary)
• Previous experience in generating reports and dashboards and performing analysis on the data
• Previous experience working in a People and Culture role where you have been involved in the provision of advice and support to a business area is ideal
• Previous experience in interpreting and understanding Enterprise Agreements and/or Awards
