Your New Role

As the Digital & Online Marketplaces Director, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing our digital strategy to elevate both customer acquisition and retention. You’ll oversee all digital, e-commerce, and website initiatives, making data-driven decisions that enhance our brand’s digital presence and boost conversions. With a focus on creating a seamless and engaging user experience, you’ll manage key areas, including our loyalty program, media buying, and the performance of online marketplaces like Amazon.

In this role, you’ll work closely with a talented cross-functional team to deliver impactful campaigns across multiple digital channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You’ll also lead, mentor, and grow our digital marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that keeps us at the forefront of digital trends.

Your Day to Day

• Develop and lead digital strategies across e-commerce, paid search, social media, display, SEO, email marketing, and loyalty programs.
• Oversee website and e-commerce platform performance, optimising for user experience, engagement, and conversions.
• Manage the loyalty program to drive customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value.
• Lead data analysis and reporting across platforms, using insights to drive campaign and e-commerce performance.
• Implement SEO and CRO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve conversion rates.
• Manage the digital marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximise ROI.
• Oversee media buying across radio, OOH, and digital networks to ensure brand visibility and reach.
• Lead and support a high-performing digital team with mentorship and development opportunities.
• Manage online marketplaces, ensuring consistent branding and growth on platforms like Amazon.

What You Need

• Proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and website management.
• Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms, CMS, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools, CRM).
• Expertise in loyalty programs and retention strategies.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and enhance digital campaigns.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex digital projects.
• Knowledge of SEO, paid media, email marketing, and media buying.
• Familiarity with marketplaces like Amazon and strong technical understanding of e-commerce platforms.

GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world. The company uses its own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions. 

As GHGSat continues its journey to build the world's leading geospatial atmospheric data platform, we are seeking Account Directors for our satellite derived methane monitoring products. These products help companies across commercial sectors identify and analyze methane gas emissions helping them proactively mitigate and manage the risk of loss of their valuable product. 

As an Account Director at GHGSat, you’ll be spearheading initiatives selling our solutions, along with our vision of helping our customers dramatically reduce the risks and impact of methane gas emissions across key verticals. We’re looking for those who love building new relationships with senior business owners and decision makers (CTOs, CEOs, Heads of Operations and Business Unit owners) about using our monitoring and data solutions and running the overall strategic relationship with these customers (including white space identification, contract negotiations, etc.) 

What you’ll do 

• Prospecting and handling high-value prospects and customers. You will contribute to the fast-growing business, and source new opportunities to provide GHGSat’s solutions to.
• Build robust territory plan to grow existing accounts and breakthrough at greenfield accounts
• Driving opportunities for product use cases around data, analytics, and emissions monitoring.
• Work with and mentor Account Executives and Sales Development Reps on your team, to drive new leads and sales
• You will deliver the technical win and product fit at customer accounts. You will build customer trust in GHGSat and our solutions, which results in customer success in the post-sale. The Account Director is both technical and a skilled relationship builder. They can clearly articulate complex value propositions.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other relevant background
• 5+ years experience selling solutions to Industry, Oil & Gas, Waste Management, Mining and/or Financial Services
• Strong track record of sales performance
• Experience building and selling SaaS, Data and Business Analytics solutions
• Strong team selling skills that involve cross functional teams of generalist AEs, product management, and executive sponsors.
• Hands-on, passionate, and creative problem solver with know how to get things done and ability to lead others to success, focusing on creating value
• Strong understanding of metrics and KPIs
