The Opportunity
The SKA Observatory (SKAO) is a next-generation radio astronomy facility that will revolutionise our understanding of the Universe and the laws of fundamental physics. Enabled by cutting-edge technology, it promises to have a major impact on society, in science and beyond.

In Australia, the SKAO is collaborating with CSIRO to operate and support the construction of the low frequency telescope (SKA-Low) in remote Western Australia on Wajarri Yamaji Country.

The Traditional Owners and native title holders, the Wajarri Yamaji, have gifted CSIRO with the traditional name Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara for the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory, home to the SKA-Low telescope. The traditional name means ‘sharing sky and stars' in the Wajarri language.

The SKA-Low Data Processing (DP) Manager is responsible for building and leading the Data Processing Software team for the SKA-Low telescope in Australia. This team will actively contribute to the deployment, integration, testing, enhancements, and support of the Data Processing Software, with strong focus on the SKA-Low during Construction and later in Operations.

Your duties will include:
- Build, lead and manage the SKA-Low Data Processing Software team responsible for integrating, testing, deploying, supporting and contributing to the development of the Data Processing software systems for the SKA Telescopes, with strong focus on key components of the SKA-Low Telescope.

- Act as a Stakeholder of the Data Processing (DP) and LOW Integration Agile Release Train (ART) Program Management Teams as required by the SKA Project SAFe implementation and its evolution through construction and operations.

- Work with peers at SKAO HQ and SKA-Mid to develop and support the common software for future implementation of a "follow-the-sun" model. Support the transition from construction to operations, developing change management, incident management and continuous quality control.

The Role

This is an exciting senior role within our Product team, focused on serving our financial services clients in Australia and New Zealand. You will be integral in driving the team forward, being focused on exceeding client expectations in all forms of delivery, identifying and implementing research and operational best practice and mentoring more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Presenting to clients ensuring presentations exceed expectations with regards to actionability, accuracy and timeliness
• Maintaining a deep understanding of clients’ strategic priorities and demonstrating this understanding in your dealings with clients
• Reviewing and providing feedback on the work of more junior members of the team, ensuring feedback is understood and acted upon, ensuring continual advancement in the quality of team output
• Executing on product or process initiatives that aim to enhance client experience, maximise efficiency and margin
• Identifying and executing upon opportunities to advance our product coverage in response to client needs and market dynamics
• Working closely with Senior Resourcing Manager to ensure resources are utilised effectively and forward planning is undertaken
• Working closely with Sales and Client Success teams in the acquisition of new clients and servicing of existing ones
• Identifying and implementing innovative research approaches and methodologies
• Cascading subject matter expertise through the analyst team and broader business
• Leading training sessions and implementing ongoing internal training programs and knowledge sharing
• Coaching and development of team members ensuring they are engaged and fulfilled in their careers at RFI.

• Experience in a research agency environment or research role.
• Experience working with banks / financial services providers.
• An ability to focus on client service above all else.
• Experience of using data and research to deliver actionable insights.
• Experience managing primary research from the design stage through delivery.
• Experience managing of external panel suppliers.
• Experience presenting research and insights to clients at a senior management level.
• A desire to work on your own in a fast-moving environment, with an entrepreneurial focus.
• The ability to lead, engage and drive a high performing team.
• The ability to work and communicate effectively.
• Experience of using data/research software such as SPSS and Q.

As Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all inventory and inbound activities, ensuring the maintenance of optimal stock levels, streamlining processes to reduce waste, and improving inventory accuracy. In close collaboration with our Finance, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams, you will be leading inventory strategies that align with business goals and drive continuous improvement efforts at our Fulfilment Centre in Wetherill Park (NSW 2164).

Your role:

• Drive efficiency and accuracy in warehouse & inventory control and management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement warehouse & inventory strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the inventory team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse inventory data to identify trends and optimise inventory levels.
• Implement inventory tracking systems and processes to improve traceability and reduce shrinkage.
• Lead inventory-related projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

This is you:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse & inventory management, preferably within a similar industry
• Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and efficiency
• Experienced in using inventory management systems, ERP, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets
• Collaborator who works well across teams and functions
• Naturally organised with excellent attention to detail
