We’re excited that we are looking to expand our team and we’re on the hunt for an experienced, passionate and ambitious General Manager - Operations and Growth.
The Role
We are seeking an exceptional and energetic person with a strong understanding of the NDIS to play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's future, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. As our General Manager - Operations and Growth you will have strong leadership skills, be a confident decision-maker, helping our team develop and be successful, whilst being involved in the business growth and expansion of business offerings. You will be mentored by one of Australia’s most highly regarded serial entrepreneurs and have the opportunity to work up towards an equity position.Â
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the team to refine strategies for business growth.
- Maintain budgets and optimise expenses.
- Create and review policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Prepare regular reports for our Founder.
- Assist with business growth by building strong relationships with external stakeholders to attract new referrals for our services.
- Ensuring the business maintains a high level of compliance in alignment with the NDIS.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals.Â
- Extensive experience in the NDIS and disability sector as a Lead or similar role.
- Existing, robust connections within the sector, capable of opening doors and creating new opportunities for business growth.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, setting, and managing financial budgets and financial targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to problem solve.
- Knowledge of business process and functions within the different areas of the business to ensure they can meet requirements of the business.Â
- Capability in leading a team to deliver exceptional care to our participants.
- Successful track record of generating growth and new business by understanding the market demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, other government agencies and specialist support services, both internal and external.
What we would like you to have:
- Valid Driver License.
- Experience in a leadership position.
- A track record of growth.
- An understanding of the NDIS, disability, and community services sector.
- Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
