ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a full-time Operations Administrator to join our Aviation team based in Darwin, NT. The primary responsibility of this role is to work closely with our Head of Flight Operations in supporting the overall aviation operation, with a key focus on day to day administration relating to aircraft, aircrew and guest movements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and check in passengers, fostering a welcoming and efficient travel environment.
- Accurately keep flight schedules up to date while sharing essential flight details with team members.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with aviation regulations by organising and filing required documentation.
- Oversee meticulous record-keeping for the timely renewal of pilot licenses, instrument ratings, and medical reviews.
- Monitor flight on-time performance and promptly report any delays to relevant stakeholders for effective communication.
- Efficiently coordinate third-party aircraft charters, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for passengers.
- Respond to and manage communications with our remote Camps and Lodges as and when needed.
ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking a passionate and professional individual who is highly motivated to excel in the role of Aviation Operations Administrator. Ideal candidates will have experience in general aviation or logistics and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, showcasing a high level of initiative. Excellent time management skills and computer literacy are essential, as is a keen desire to understand the operational requirements of the business.
You will also have:
- Relevant experience in general aviation or logistics preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and software applications.
