This is a field service engineering position, primarily based at Sydney Airport, responsible for maintaining and repairing Smiths Detection’s X-ray and trace detection equipment using hand and power tools, as part of Smiths Detection’s 24/7 rotating shift roster. This position requires face-to-face customer-interaction and a high level of team orientation, with a proactive approach to seeking and sharing technical knowledge. The ability to work autonomously and across all of the allocated shift rotations/times are also essential requirements.

Duties And Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshooting, servicing and repairing X-ray and trace detection equipment
• Proactively completing preventative maintenance tasks according to service contracts and schedules Responding to equipment faults and other corrective maintenance requirements according to service contracts and key performance indicators
• Testing components and circuitry of X-ray equipment using a multimeter, computer/laptop and the inbuilt equipmentsoftware
• Diagnosing the root cause of mechanical, electrical and electronics related equipment faults (involving 24 volts or less) 
• Replacing belts, rollers, motors and other mechanical components within X-ray equipment
• Replacing and manoeuvring X-ray sources (ie. generators) and other heavy parts using lifting aides
• Opening machines to inspect, vacuum, clean, de-grease, repair and replace internal parts 
• Installing new equipment, independently and alongside Smiths Detection’s programs and installations teams and various subcontractors and customer-stakeholders • Completing field service related documentation and reports
• Completing technical, safety, compliance and other job related trainings, online and in-person
• Maintaining a clean/tidy work station and work environment
• Responding to queries from customers, vendors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, verbally and in writing, in a timely and professional manner, independently
• Consuming spare parts from the warehouse/storage area and promptly updating the associated records in the IT software tracking system
• Joining regular internal team meetings and safety briefings
• Ensuring that tools and testing equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Analysing field service data trends and recommending process and equipment improvements
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects and initiatives 
• Providing training and support to new joiners and junior-level field service team members
• Leading safe-work practices and ensuring the safety of junior-level field service team members
• Reporting and escalating day-to-day issues to more senior field service team members or management in a timely manner
• Other duties as required

• Unit Pricing: Ensure accurate and timely calculation of unit prices for the funds, working closely with other teams to validate pricing methodology and underlying asset valuations.
• Cash Reconciliation (including support to BDMs to monitor investor cash flows): Perform cash reconciliation for the funds, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with Business Development Managers to monitor investor cash inflows and outflows, ensuring all investor transactions are processed and reconciled.
• Drafting Drawdowns/Distributions Notices: Prepare and issue drawdown and distribution notices to investors, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications regarding capital calls or distributions.
• Invoice Payments: Manage and process invoice payments for fund-related expenses, ensuring timely payment and proper documentation in accordance with internal procedures and financial controls.
• Updating Database for Performance Calculations: Maintain and update the performance database with relevant data for accurate performance tracking and calculations. Ensure data integrity for portfolio and fund performance assessments.
• Preparation of Investor Reporting Obligations including ESG Reporting: Assist in the preparation of regular investor reports, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. Prepare ESG reports and provide transparent fee disclosures, ensuring investors are fully informed.
• Working with External Administrators: Collaborate with external fund administrators to ensure smooth operations, including fund valuations, NAV calculations, investor communications, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the Pacific Loyalty strategy, driving programme performance, and delivering exceptional member experiences. Focus on growing loyalty programmes through member acquisition, retention initiatives, and fostering a strong in-hotel loyalty culture.

This role is responsible for:

• Champion the ALL – Accor Live Limitless programme in the Pacific, localising and delivering its value proposition across hotels, guests, members, and the wider community.
• Collaborate with MEA APAC teams to develop and execute Pacific marketing strategies, driving member acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Lead and support loyalty operations through strategic improvements, reporting, training, and communication of ALL programme performance, working with two direct reports to ensure delivery and member satisfaction.
• Collaborate with regional and hotel teams to drive member recruitment, benefit compliance, programme updates, and effective use of loyalty tools such as HotelLink, LUKE, and ACDC.
• Develop and implement innovative training tools, member experience audits, and engagement initiatives to foster a strong loyalty culture and enhance programme outcomes across the Pacific.
• Represent loyalty at owner meetings, monitor market trends, and identify opportunities to enhance the value of ALL, Accor Plus, and Accor Vacation Club programmes.
• Act as the loyalty systems expert, creating SOPs and processes to support benefit compliance, and collaborating with hotel operations and training teams to implement localised programme updates across the Pacific.
• Develop and implement staff training, best practices, and consistent procedures, while communicating programme updates and delivering quarterly webinars on loyalty initiatives to hotel teams.
• Oversee financial management by establishing procedures, managing budgets, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring all activities align with Accor’s financial objectives.
• Lead and inspire the team by embodying Accor’s values, empowering high performers, fostering innovation, and actively coaching to create a cohesive, motivated work environment.
• Drive recruitment, retention, and career development by identifying leadership talent and supporting team members’ growth towards shared goals.
