Minor Hotels is seeking a Performance Marketing Executive to join our team in a newly created role, based in the Brisbane CBD and commencing in February 2025.

Reporting to the Digital & e-Commerce Marketing Manager, you will drive digital campaign planning, execution, and optimisation while leading customer acquisition strategies across Australia and New Zealand. Your efforts will contribute directly to revenue growth and the success of our brands.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital performance marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with external agencies to create and manage Google Ad campaigns, including SEM, metasearch, and display advertising.
• Oversee the creation and management of Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns in partnership with external agencies.
• Execute and monitor the SEO strategy in collaboration with external agency partners.
• Continuously review and optimise advertising campaigns to achieve target ROAS and other key performance metrics.
• Partner with the Marketing & Brand team to design and execute full-funnel customer acquisition campaigns across the entire customer journey.
• Manage paid listings on third-party websites, affiliate networks, and media platforms.
• Utilise Google Analytics to track and measure marketing performance, focusing on objectives and KPIs.
• Regularly analyse multi-channel performance reports (Search, Social, Ads, Email, Website) and provide actionable optimisation recommendations to sales, marketing teams, and agency partners.
• Conduct conversion rate optimization (CRO) audits, implement A/B testing, and gather user feedback to enhance conversion rates across the brand’s digital channels, campaigns, and assets.

As an Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, managing relationships with existing and new customers including merchants, developers, specifiers, architects, and engineers while actively seeking opportunities to expand Bosch’s market position. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders, ensure exceptional customer service, and contribute to achieving ambitious sales targets for the Home Comfort Division.

Position responsibilities will include:

• Conduct sales activities with existing and potential customers to grow revenue and market share in your designated region.
• Develop and implement proposals for both direct and indirect customers, securing new business opportunities in the new build and replacement sectors.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support successful growth strategies.
• Actively monitor market trends and developments, providing actionable market intelligence.
• Deliver exceptional after-sales support, directly assisting customers with their day-to-day business needs.
• Work with divisional teams to develop and execute marketing, promotional, and training programs in the region

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in high volume FMCG promotional planning and execution within category management, franchising, or a retailing environment.  You will possess excellent internal/ external key stakeholder relationship management skills and excel in communicating across all levels of business.  You will be an innovative and strategic thinker with a specific focus around digital activation and implementation across all channels.  This role is Permanent full time, 38hrs per week, requiring a small amount of regular travel to visit our on-site taverns and stores.  Salary will be commensurate with experience circa $130-140K + Super + 5 weeks annual leave (conditions apply).  Our interview process will commence in Jan 2025.

Duties include:

• Manage promotional budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve optimal ROI
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities
• Oversee the planning and execution of product development, promotional events and activations nationwide
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and those outside of Sodexo
• Lead and mentor a promotions coordinator to deliver on time and high-impact promotional initiatives

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field (desirable), however more importantly there will be a strong preference for those coming from a background of convenience retailing at a national level 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail FMCG promotional management, with a proven track record of successful national promotional campaigns
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Skills in data analysis and reporting to measure campaign effectiveness
• In-depth knowledge of the Australian FMCG market and current trends with an emphasis on convenience retailing 
• Proficiency in using Microsoft suite of applications 
• Demonstrates soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.
• Remote industry knowledge (desirable)
