Our client, Whithams Office Furniture Pty Ltd, is a premier provider of office furniture based in South Tamworth, NSW. The client has recently expanded its operations nationwide with an innovative online store. This expansion allows Whithams to compete with major city stores by offering direct online orders across Australia.
The client is looking to fill a full-time permanent position for a skilled and experienced Marketing Specialist to develop and implement marketing strategies that enhance the company’s online visibility and drive sales across Australia. This involves increasing brand awareness, optimizing digital marketing efforts to attract nationwide customers, and effectively promoting the company's expanded online store capabilities.
The role is critical in transitioning Whithams from a regional player to a national competitor in the office furniture market by leveraging digital channels to reach a broader audience. Effective marketing strategies will be crucial to build market awareness and to position Whithams as a top choice for office furniture solutions across Australia.
As the 'brand guardian' for Whithams, the Marketing Specialist will maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications and will manage a portfolio of products. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a company's target market.
Minimum Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong preference for experience in e-commerce or online retail.
• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in a related discipline
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to enhance online visibility and drive sales nationwide.
• Manage the online brand presence to ensure consistency and engagement across all digital platforms.
• Develop and execute branding and promotional activities for product portfolio
• Support business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs
• Identify market opportunities by defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, establishing targeted market share
• Execute effective online marketing campaigns aimed at expanding customer reach and increasing online orders.
• Utilise SEO strategies and analyse online traffic to optimise marketing efforts and improve customer acquisition.
• Create compelling and relevant content tailored for online platforms to engage a national audience.
• Oversee the online marketing channel strategies and performance.
• Manage content creation for the website and social media platforms.
• Analyse digital marketing data to adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage the budget for advertising and promotional items
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between online marketing and sales objectives.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends and tools that can benefit the online store.
