Job Title: Sales Analyst
Salary: $73,150 p. a. + superannuation
As a Sales Analyst, you will play a critical role in collecting, verifying, maintaining, analysing, and managing information and data to produce insightful results for our company. You will be responsible for improving processes, identifying new business opportunities, and generating comprehensive insights on key performance metrics such as operational efficiency, cost management, revenue generation, and workforce productivity along with maintaining information as required under relevant laws (RORI).

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, verify, maintain, and analyse information and data to produce actionable insights and ensure accuracy and integrity
• Manage and organize data to identify trends and patterns, and provide detailed analysis on operational efficiency, cost management, revenue generation, and workforce productivity to inform the development of strategic plans
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across all verticals of the business and support the delivery of analytical insights
• Develop and maintain complex financial models and analyses, and prepare comprehensive reports, briefing notes, memoranda, and other documents that identify and resolve gaps to support decision-making
• Suggest process improvements and new business opportunities
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis.
About You
This role will suit an experienced candidate who has worked with large data sets and roles within the financial sector. You will have using various reporting tools with the ability to interpret data and pull insights to tell develop a visual story.
You have experience working with data; identifying trends and providing recommendations through analysis to help inform decision-making processes. The ability to manage competing projects at one time will also see you succeed. In addition to this, experience in helping develop reporting tools is essential as there will be opportunities for you to lead continuous improvements.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills are key, with demonstrated experience partnering with others to work together to deliver a shared outcome.
To be considered, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration with a major in Finance
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the financial sector, with relevant experience in consulting or investment banking
• Demonstrated experience in advanced analytics, including proficiency in Excel, Python, and R
• Strong understanding of financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Jira software
• Analytical and detail-oriented with a deep understanding of business principles and data-driven decision-making
• Proven experience with statutory tasks, including ASIC and 672 disclosure processes
• Experience with business intelligence concepts, tools, and market research
• Completion of or progress towards a CFA designation is essential
