What we are looking for:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic account manager with a passion for marketing to join our tight-knit team in Sydney. This role sits at the heart of a small, agile squad with a start-up atmosphere, working closely together to deliver results for clients all over Asia Pacific. You'll help to deliver projects on budget and on time, collaborate with strategists, creatives and media specialists, and maintain exceptional day-to-day client relationships. Working closely with a director, you’ll develop an excellent understanding of your clients’ objectives, ensuring campaigns with a wow factor are delivered consistently to brief.Â
What you will do
Client management Â
- Regular communication to provide real-time updates on day-to-day activities.Â
- Co-ordinating status meetings, providing reporting including updates on the work, timelines and budgets, highlighting any blockers or risks. Â
- Participate in briefings, capturing client requirements and reporting needs.Â
- Capture feedback, distribute and follow up on action points.Â
- Supporting your account director, building your relationships with clients through responsiveness, clear communication and by managing expectations.Â
Program management  Â
Working with your project team you will:Â
- Liaise with team members to understand roles and responsibilities, processes, and delivery tasks. Â
- Create supporting project plans and resource plans. Â
- Work with our traffic manager to resource and schedule team members.Â
- Write production briefs and facilitate kick off meetings. Â
- Drive teams through the delivery of the work, coordinating schedules, organizing meetings and providing clear actions and deadlines. Â
- Find solutions to resolve blockers or challenges to the successful delivery of the work. Â
- Review and critically appraise work to ensure that it meets the brief and is ready to share with the client. Â
Commercial management  Â
- Create project estimates, quotes and statements of work, with support from your director.Â
- Responsible for managing project finance admin – such as raising purchase orders and invoices and updating and maintaining accurate forecast data.Â
- Tracking and reporting on time, cost and overall budget spend and profitability of your projects. Â
- Escalating commercial risks to your director. Â
Marketing strategy  Â
- Take an interest in your client’s business, industry and the work, sharing relevant information across your team.Â
- Understand programme/ campaign performance and liaise with your team to provide recommendations to optimize activity and/or improve the quality of outcomes. Â
- Develop an understanding of the services TMP offers and how we add value to our clients. Â
Business developmentÂ
- Identify opportunities for TMP to extend its scope of work within your existing projects and work with your Account Director on how to move these forward.

What you will need
- Previous marketing or agency experience.Â
- Some understanding of different types of marketing campaigns.Â
- Experience of managing some cross-discipline teams (for example - asset production, strategy, creative, technology, media) is helpful but not a mustÂ
- Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience of project management tools and processes.Â
