WHO YOU ARE

• Demonstrates strong support for the Sales & Marketing team and the Business Development Manager in operational tasks and event coordination.
• Skilled in the current knowledge of hotel rates and operational details for effective client interactions, ensuring the product knowledge manual is consistently updated.
• Shows initiative in managing phone inquiries and conducting telemarketing to identify new clients, providing weekly outcome summaries.
• Exhibits proficiency in assisting with daily activity planning and conducting research, while compiling insightful monthly Sales/Marketing reports.
• Competent in updating and maintaining the Sales & Marketing database and efficiently managing the 31-day trace system.
• Organises electronic files for contracts and correspondence with precision and actively assists with various promotional projects.
• Demonstrates capability in drafting compelling proposals and communication materials, contributing effectively to marketing and e-commerce strategies.
• Skilled in creating engaging content for diverse distribution channels, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards.
• Shows strong organisational skills in managing Sales & Marketing correspondence, taking comprehensive meeting minutes, and overseeing the distribution of promotional materials and stationery inventory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Participate in planning day-to-day activities for the team.
• Assist in telemarketing efforts to identify new clients and assess their potential for the business, preparing weekly outcome summary reports.
• Conduct research, perform competitive analysis, and compile monthly Sales/Marketing reports.
• Support the team in developing and executing marketing and e-commerce strategies by coordinating campaigns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and operational details to effectively handle site inspections with clients.
• Keep the product knowledge master manual for the Sales & Marketing department current and comprehensive.
• Update and maintain the Sales & Marketing database regularly.
• Manage the department’s 31-day trace and product tiles effectively.
• Provide administrative support as needed, maintaining electronic files for contracts, wholesaler agreements, group bookings, and corporate rates.
• Assist in drafting proposals, communication documents, and mail-outs.
• Create content for print, online, and digital distribution.
• Organise and manage all Sales & Marketing correspondence within the hotel.
• Manage all incoming telephone calls with initiative and follow through on inquiries.
• Take minutes during Sales & Marketing meetings.
• Assist in the distribution of promotional materials, such as hotel brochures and sales kits.
• Ensure proper inventory management of stationery items and maintain stock levels.
• Contribute to specific projects related to internal and external promotions.

What will you do in this role? 

To support the company’s growth, we are looking for an APAC Data Sales Manager to join our Global Data Sales Team. You will report to the Global Head of Data Sales in this position.

You will plan and execute strategies and sales tactics in the following areas: Territory planning, Strategic account management, Executive relationship development, presentation and delivery, negotiating, closing and executing contracts.

This role will focus primarily on ICEYE’s data sales market, with an emphasis on defence, intelligence and security customers. You will identify leads and opportunities, both directly and through the agency vendor ecosystem, to market ICEYE’s satellite imagery data and products that will meet potential client’s needs.

Responsibilities

• You will initiate contact & meet with clients, with the objective to exceed quota, move prospects to contract close, and expand ICEYE’s presence across assigned client base.
• You will lead sales campaigns in conjunction with marketing, initiating customized proposals and communication for clients, and develop familiarity with potential clients to best meet their priorities.
• This role will have a great deal of autonomy
• You'll be responsible for generating your own leads and building customer pipelines
• Accelerate customer adoption
• Work with partners to extend reach
• Lead contract negotiations
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
• Ensure customer happiness and success

What will you need to be successful in this role?

• Proven experience working in a Business Development or Sales role within APAC
• A background in Geospatial or Satellite imagery Sales is preferred. However, we would also welcome applicants from an Aerospace & Defence background
• Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated.
• Prior track record of achievement in positions with accountability.
• Hunter mentality with solid sales experience
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• An extensive customer network within APAC is a must
• An entrepreneurial spirit, find the right opportunities and take through to a close

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills: 

• Passion for the Space sector.
• A network of existing clients in the Defence and Intelligence space, especially MODs across the APAC region.
• Experience of working in a company that is experiencing high pace growth year on year and being able to match that by contributing to the bottom line from an early stage.
• A good knowledge of Synthetic Aperture Radar
• Experience within a SaaS background
