• Create group masters and update group information as it is received eg. rooming list, arrival, meals, follow up on information if not received.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure group requirements and special requests are actioned.
• Ensure the standard group contract/confirmations are sent for ad hoc groups contains the booking conditions (deposits, final numbers, room list requirements etc)
• Use a standardised report used to advise other hotel departments of the groups details/requirements (Kitchen, Restaurant, Porters, Housekeeping).
• Weekly reporting of groups “on the books” and identifying key demand periods and low demand periods.
• Track group bookings for wash, materialisation and turn ways.
• Ensure follow up for final numbers, deposits and rooming lists.
• Have sound knowledge of Accor specified yield management practices and attend /
• Communication with DOS and Sales department to forward all possible leads and feedback from inbound and corporate markets.
• Communication between Front Office and Reservations Office open and reciprocal.
• Develop and supervise new leads, qualify prospective leads as to profitability.
• Alert management to any potential concerns to enable prompt attention.
• Ensure completion of daily duties, eg. Correspondence, filing, reports, etc.
• Use of Opera to accurately record all activities, contacts, etc.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with conference clients, PCO’s, hotel suppliers and other hotels.
• Check master account billing to ensure correct changes.
• Any other duties assigned by your manager.
• Ensure that any payment issues are brought to the attention of the Reservations Manager and Financial Controller.
• Ensure the prompt and accurate processing of commissions.
• Promote up selling and add selling within the team.
• Manage no show bookings in accordance with the hotel cancellation policy
• Ensure all outward correspondence complies with the company procedures and any unusual correspondence is authorised by the Reservations Supervisor and/or Manager.

We are looking for a Risk and Control Enablement Manager to join our Product Team (1st line of defence).

The Risk and Control Enablement Manager is responsible for first line risk enablement and payment industry compliance which primarily sits across two key areas:  

1. Ensuring there is a positive and effective risk and compliance culture where compliance and obligations are understood and appropriately prioritised as well as managed within an agile environment.   

2. Maintaining and embedding the payments industry compliance framework into our product domains and strengthening Cuscal’s management and implementation of requirements from all payment industry bodies and schemes such as AusPayNet, AP+, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, UPI, ACCC (CDR) and any emerging payment and data schemes. 

About the Role: 

Risk Assessment, Management and Mitigation 

• Identify, document, and assess risks, incidents, and controls to foster a strong risk culture.  

• Conduct functional risk profiling and control design and testing, including a roadmap for control automation and standardisation. 

• Drive uplift in Line 1 operational risk and regulatory compliance practices, including risk profile refreshes, controls setting, and risk in change identification.  

• Manage the review of any non-compliance to examine root cause and identify treatment actions. 

Compliance Monitoring and Reporting 

• Conduct regular reviews to ensure Product Domains adhere to the risk appetite statement, policies, and frameworks.  

• Manage compliance and risk calendar to ensure all product domains are aware of upcoming activities. 

• Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to key obligations, including interaction with auditors and oversight of clients.  

• Improve compliance maturity and management through key metrics, ensuring appropriate oversight of compliance items within the Domain backlog. 

• Maintain dashboards on compliance and risk-related activities, including audit actions, issues, risk acceptances, and control testing. 

Regulatory Engagement and Response 

• Liaise with Line 2 risk and IT Risk teams to understand upcoming regulatory changes and prioritise work into the product domains.  

• Build relationships with payment industry bodies and schemes, manage waivers, data integrity outcomes, and ensure timely resolution of open actions.  

• Review scheme bulletins, mandates, etc., and work with the Domain to assess impacts and ensure communication to stakeholders.  

• Ensure the Cuscal Compliance framework, including the risk and compliance system, is updated and adhered to, with current obligations, waivers/exemptions, breaches, issues, compliance calendars, and monitoring plans. 

Risk Culture and Training 

• Contribute to the development and embedding of a sound risk culture.  

• Ensure effective delivery and embedding of strengthened practices related to vendor management and business continuity planning. 

• Embed agile ways of working within the product domains to ensure understanding of scheme changes and compliance activities. 

About You: 

• 5+ years experience in operational risk and/or compliance advisory, preferably within the Financial Services industry  

• Proven experience working in an agile product development environment 

• Demonstrated experience in work effectively in a fast-paced cross functional environment  

• Proven evidence of strong relationship management, presentation, negotiation skills and the ability to positively influence 

• Analyse and readily interpret business and technical operations impacts and needs of internal and external stakeholders and clients  

• Experience in managing compliance changes and initiatives including supporting delivery and delivered risks through risk in change build and maintenance 

• The ability to translate technical requirements into business language

Your Role & Team

This is a pure B2B Business Development role that is responsible for the entire 360 sales cycle from initial prospecting and hunting through to closing out new opportunities across our Key Account Segment (Clients with turnover >$250M PA). Additionally, your time will be spent managing and nurturing existing accounts (post-close) for up to 12 months, where further upsell/ cross-sell opportunities will exist.

This role reports directly to the Sales Manager – Key Accounts and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.

Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Strategic Business Development:

• Identify new business opportunities within the key account portfolio and expand relationships across different divisions or subsidiaries.

 Solution Selling & Value Delivery:

• Deeply understand CreditorWatch’s suite of products to communicate the value proposition effectively.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors to provide insights that inform strategy and client engagement approaches.

To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have worked within in a quota-carrying AE role (preferably in SaaS) for at least 7 years, managing complex sales cycles (6-12 months). You will be a natural hunter who enjoys identifying, hunting and closing new business. You’ll have strong communication and problem-solving skills which will enable you to have the right conversations to then uncover the Customer’s needs and provide strong solutions. In short, you need to be resilient, ambitious and nurturing in your approach.
