We are looking for a self motivated, dynamic individual with a passion for sales. As part of this role the successful candidate will help to develop the market and customer base for their region. Job activities will include but not be limited to:

• Searching for new customers, quoting, following through with orders and maximizing client potential in industrial automation industries.
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new customers through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Persuading customers that a product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and engineering to develop and propose the correct solution to the customer.
• Act as the main contact for pre-sales technical assistance, product education and after-sales support services.
• Reporting and analyzing sales & costs.
• Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
• Liaising with finance and customers to ensure accounts are opened, payments are made on time according to contract terms, and accounting queries are followed up and resolved.
• Entering, updating, and maintaining customer opportunities, sales activities, and details in CRM.
• Furthering knowledge and keeping up to date with new technologies and applications and how to use them using internal Bosch systems, communities and networks.
• Working knowledge of other Business Units portfolios across Industrial Automation.
• Learn, follow, and use internal procedures for sales, engineering, service, and warranties.
• Complete Bosch assigned training and attend meetings as requested.
• Identify and develop potential partners.
• Supporting other team members and business stakeholders in training, sales activities and project scopes.
• Answering calls and emails from both internal and external stakeholders within a reasonable time frame.
• Attending sales meetings with team members and managers.
• Performs additional related duties as requested or required.

This could be a great platform to start and learn while working with experienced Sales Engineers on a full-time basis for a fixed term as a Sales Intern.

Based at our Kings Park office in Sydney, NSW.

Position Purpose

The Sales Intern will work in the Sales team and is accountable for developing sales expertise and tender application knowledge. Assisting in sales planning, tendering application process, key account management and project management.

Specific Tasks 

• Process, administer and review orders
• Assist in identifying new business development opportunities
• Tender preparation and order execution
• Promote technical solutions to potential clients
• Assist with coordination of projects for the delivery of successful customer solutions
• Assist in managing customer relationships, maintaining customer database and reporting on sales metrics

About the Graduate Program

Our program is an entry level position for someone who has completed their Bachelors degree ideally in a Science or Business. You either love Science but are not interested in research or a laboratory position. Or you have a Business degree and want to pursue a sales career.  

You will be given Sales Training, Mentorship, and a group of entry level customers within the water treatment division to start you on your career. Our Grads typically stay in their first role 12-18 months whilst they are learning and developing their skills for a long-term career. The position is a full time and completes as a promotion within the business. There are clear lines of progression within Redox with numerous examples of long term tenure. About the role

This role is balanced between hands-on visits with your customers and desk-based work. 

A typical day involves information gathering, creating proposals, price negotiation, customer visits and consulting with internal and external stakeholders.

About you
You have recently complete a degree in Science or Business in the last 2 years and want to turn your education into a successful Sales career.
