Serving a region with a population of approximately 72,000 people, their activities cover about 25% of the State of Victoria. Your new role
This lead position is responsible for developing projects and implementing new initiatives as well as problem identification, requirement gathering and analysing improvements. The role is 80% technical and 20% leadership, managing the design & integration of corporate/HR systems.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Lead, manage, supervise, and develop initiatives
Ensure the planning and delivery of ICT enterprise solutions and ensure you meet user's requirements.
Deliver high level customer focused technical advice and support to all stakeholders, ensuring system integrity and performance is always maintained.
Identify, assess and manage/mitigate risk in regard to the ICT enterprise solutions, working within the Risk Management Framework.
Ensure process and system changes are reflected in all relevant documentation and sound change management and configuration management principles are applied.
Perform system analysis to identify solution improvements.
Develop technical content and standards and undertake the development of commercial content in business cases, contract documentation and reports, for ICT related projects in consultation with stakeholders.
Demonstrate leadership and enthusiasm for staff within the team and motivate those staff to achieve the performance expected of the division (with 1 report initially and the opportunity to expand the team)
Identify and assist in the solution to any communication and workflow problems observed by suggesting improvements and enhancements to existing systems and processes, in accordance with the organisation's procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, 5+ years of experience in managing, supporting, or implementing end to end business and/or ICT applications
Demonstrated experience in the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Business Solutions such as Technology One, Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Ticketing Tools, HR systems is important to have.
Good understanding of various technology components; how applications integrate or interact with one another and with other technological components such as servers, databases etc.
Possess a high-level appreciation of the business wide benefits to be gained from effective enterprise solutions
Ability to understand and/or define business requirements and translate to technical requirements, solutions, or workarounds.
Degree in Computer Science
Possess strong Systems Analysis skills
Strong technical background in ICT and knowledge of ICT Infrastructure and Database technologies (SQL/Oracle) highly desirable.
Project Management skills with certifications (Nice to have)
Information Technology Library Infrastructure (ITIL) foundation certificate
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
