About the role:

V2 Digital is looking for a skilled Cloud Consultant with experience in the Information Technology and Services industry to join our dynamic team. Your primary focus is on automating processes, improving deployment frequency, and maintaining a stable and reliable infrastructure to deliver high-quality software products efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support the company's digital services.
• Develop automated deployment processes for software applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimise the performance and availability of the systems.
• Monitor system health and application performance to ensure high availability and optimal user experience.
• Implement and maintain effective security measures to protect all aspects of the infrastructure.
• Work with software engineers to implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide timely feedback on system and application performance.
• Continuously improve infrastructure processes and practices to optimise efficiency and scalability.
• Lead migration initiatives in moving workloads and data from on-prem to cloud and from cloud to cloud.

What's required:

• Several years experience as a Cloud Consultant or related role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with deep expertise in at least one of these.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Linux systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with database systems like MySQL, Postgres, or MongoDB.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

About the team

The Professional Services Team ANZ provides support, guidance and consultancy services to our customers throughout their engagement and customer life cycle with GBG. We provide technical and functional support, consultancy and advisory services for several products and services, including identity verification, location intelligence, fraud management and project management. We work directly with our customers to ensure their requirements are met and that they can consume the GBG product(s) they've purchased within the shortest possible timeframe.

The role

Reporting to the Client Integration Manager, the role of the Integration Consultant is to support the integration, onboarding and provisioning of GBG's Identity and Compliance solutions for both new and existing customers, including data reporting and consulting services. This is a challenging and varied role, so it means the need to liaise directly with customers to clarify requirements as part of our services.

What you will do

• Configuration, implementation, and support of GBG identity customers for activities such as on-boarding and platform configuration changes for our identity product which includes identity verification and biometric solutions. Customers are for all channels which includes partners and re-sellers.
• Collaborate with presales, sales and technology teams whereas is necessary to support existing and new customers.
• Educate customers about our product and assist customer to understand how to use our products to cover their business needs, becoming a trusted advisor. At the same time, anticipate and communicate project risks (if any).
• Work with prospects and clients to help define the customer onboarding journey with minimum friction. This needs to be aligned with the configuration that are available on the platform.
• Assist customers with detailed questions about our product architecture, configuration, APIs, and data reporting.
• Run as a single point of contact for key allocated projects and manage the end-to-end implementation and consultancy of our biometric and hosted greenID Solutions.
• Develop quality work and customer documentation.
• Adopt and enforce delivery governance practices by maintaining accurate and timely project reporting and participating in periodic project reviews & audits.

What are we looking for

• Excellent client interaction skills, collaborative work style, and strong interpersonal and team skills.
• Ability to select and use appropriate tools for the job and perform technical research as required to supplement and support Professional Services framework in delivering working product to clients.
• Ability to design and develop technical or customer reference documentation for project work plans, guidelines, standards, procedures, and processes that meet the needs of the target audience.
• Ability to identify key issues, analyse data, and make recommendations to address problems.
• A confident worker, comfortable with working alone but also a good team player dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willing to be adaptable to changing priorities, and to accommodate the need for urgency.
• Knowledge in facial biometrics technology would be a definite advantage.
• Knowledge of SOAP web services, RESTful API's, HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• Exposure with Splunk and SOAPUI/POSTMAN
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn the industry and technology used within identity products.
• Ability to sit comfortable with customers (different levels – from technical to senior stakeholders) to explain our product, conduct workshops and product training.
• Analytical competency advantageous and the path to growth more in the role
• Ideally will have banking/financial institution experience.
• Ideally will have identity verifications, KYC / AML process experience.
