About the role

As Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the training and assessment systems meet all requirements of the rules of evidence and principles of assessment so students can be assessed and issued with qualifications.

You will be in charge of establishing ties and partnership with other high-quality education providers within the VET and Higher Education Sectors and with Education Agencies. Your primary role will be to ensure consistent high quality of policies and procedures, partnership management, software and learning systems, validation and documentation.

Responsibilities


Design & maintain quality assurance, tools and processes for education systems



Ensuring policies and procedures are in accordance with the VET Quality Framework, government contracts and organisational needs.



Prepare reports, correspondence and present on quality assurance data and compliance activities to a range of internal and external stakeholders including the Board, Management, CEO and government bodies.



Ensure resources meet all the necessary standards/regulatory requirements



Consult with key product specialists to seek final quality assurance approval of materials



Work closely with the product development team and provide advice to mitigate any issues to satisfy quality and compliance standards



Maintaining systems objectives (PRISMS, JobReady, ASQA Net, etc as necessary



Ensure stakeholders engagement to main workflow and quality outputs


Qualification / Experience


Relevant Bachelor’s degree



At least 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and Compliance


Skills preferred:


Experience in compliance with the records, information and knowledge management requirements



Monitoring and adaptation of policies and procedures



Knowledge of ASQA standards and audits



Experience in managing compliance reporting systems



Practising Buddhist



Must be able to read, write and converse in Mandarin



Able to speak some Chinese Dialects, i.e. Hokkien, Teochew, and Cantonese

Morning

• You will have your own company vehicle at home, therefore, in your company uniform, you’ll either travel to your first customer of the day or head to the depot to load your van with stock for your day's work.

On the road

• Your day will be spent visiting a number of different customers. No two days will be the same due to the variety of industries you will service.
• You will service your customers’ sites by;

Tasmanian Quality Meats have many positions available that will be responsible for various labouring positions around our boning room, slaughter floor and offal rooms. These positions will involve packing meat into bags or boxes, basic knife duties, pushing carcasses through chillers, packing and stacking of boxes into chillers and freezers, operating basic equipment and other various tasks around the site as required.

This positions available are on a permanent full time basis and are required as we have finalised our factory upgrades and increase our production accordingly. The salary range will be $44,203 - $52,897 ($22.38 - $26.77) dependent on different level of positions. They may be opportunity to earn more with overtime and as you progress into senior positions. There will be training provided for all our roles, and opportunity for career progression as you become experienced within the meat industry.

These positions will require a good level of fitness and strength, literacy and numeracy skills, being able to work within a team environment, and own reliable transport. To be offered a position you will need to participate in a medical assessment and have full working rights within Australia.

What you do:

Reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, the Head of Compliance will play a key role in managing the Compliance Management System within the local Business Unit. The role will also assist the Company (AWP Australia Pty Ltd also trading as Allianz Partners) to continuously meet its compliance obligations in relation to the relevant aspects of applicable regulations and internal policies whilst providing leadership to the Compliance team.


What you will be responsible for:

Functional responsibilities include:

? Draft, implement and maintain policies, procedures and processes

? Compliance issue register, breach reporting and escalation

? Compliance obligations register

? Compliance reviews and spot checks

? Compliance awareness, training and communication activities

? AzP Program manager (SME) for Compliance Risk and Program Maturity

Assessment

? Liaise with Allianz Partners Compliance counterparts from the Group and the Region, regulatory bodies and the Allianz Australia Insurance Limited Compliance function

? Whistleblowing investigations and reporting, escalation to local management, Region or Group Compliance

? Chair the local Integrity Committee

? Training and advice to business and management

? Reporting to committees and keeping of minutes, if required

? Timely prescribed and ad hoc reporting

? Delegation of tasks, target setting of team members

? Support Group Compliance projects and training initiatives

? Provide consultative support in the implementation of (risk mitigating) strategies and campaigns and assist with the co-ordination of any associated procedures in relation to new products, services or campaigns

? Provide administrative support in the implementation of strategies and campaigns and assist with the co-ordination of any associated procedures in relation to new products, services or campaigns

Risk & Compliance:

? Adhere to the risk management and compliance obligations relevant to each position and comply with policies, processes and training requirements.

? Report and escalate risk and compliance related concerns, issues and failures to management.

? Complete required risk management reviews and questionnaires within approved timeframes

? Identify, document and communicate risk and compliance exposures including fraud and corruption in operational areas or departments

? Integrate compliance obligations, risk assessment and the risk management process into business practices

? Actively participate in the management and resolution of risk and compliance related incidents, issues including fraud and corruption risks

? Develop employee awareness of risk and compliance related issues and require employees to meet training and competency requirements and integrate risk identification and management into employee performance appraisals

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Safety Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring our Zero Harm values are adhered to, and that we remain compliant to system safety, regulatory and customer requirements. Working within the Engineering & Technology team, you will have a network of experienced SME’s available to support you, and as such this role may suit someone with a rollingstock background, or similar.
This is a fulltime, permanent role, ideally based in Brisbane, QLD.


About the Role:
Reporting to the Discipline Manager of Safety Assurance, you will be responsible for conducting activities relevant to System Safety Assurance of the assigned assets. These activities may include, but not be limited to;
• Performing safety assurance analysis of the rollingstock and facilities
• Administration of the hazard log database and reporting
• Interface and liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Development of final safety case for certification
• Attending site-based safety assurance audits on occasion

About You:
• Degree qualification in Engineering, Technology or equivalent discipline
• 6+ years of experience working with safety assurance systems.
• Background in railway/rollingstock operations (desired)
• Knowledge of Australian Railway standards (EN50126, EN50128 & EN50129, AS4292)
• Knowledge of RISSB Hazards register
• IEAUST membership (desired)
