About the Job

To enable the Finance and Investment Operations Division to develop, implement, maintain and monitor the Rest Risk Management Framework in relation to the operations of the Division.  You will identify and monitor business risks and work with the business teams to ensure that those risks are appropriately mitigated. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Provide strategic process and thought leadership on proactive risk management strategies, plans and actions in the context of the current, emerging and future environment.

Morning

On the road

• Your day will be spent visiting a number of different customers. No two days will be the same due to the variety of industries you will service.
• You will service your customers’ sites by;

• Complete accurate Service Reports after every visit

The Risk and Compliance Teams are responsible for allowing the business to scale sustainably, whether it involves new markets, products, blockchains and more. Our Teams are involved in end to end processes to mitigate risks, including financial crime risks, and identification of areas of control weakness. We work directly with the business as key partners in driving control improvement.

 The teams are also responsible for identifying any gaps or weaknesses in Zodia’s adherence to applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards of self-regulatory organisations. Risk & Compliance play a key role in in ensuring key business processes help to manage risks enabling our businesses to continuously improve its risk management processes.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with both the Risk and Compliance teams, which are core teams to Zodia Custody’s success. You will help Zodia Custody in its mission to enable Digital Assets, without compromise.

What you'll be helping us with:

• Making sure Zodia Custody is compliant with risk frameworks, is continually improving these frameworks and is fostering a culture of assessment, challenge and monitoring  
• Continuing to expand, enhance and evolve our company-wide control landscape to meet regulatory expectations and deliver best in class services to our customers
• Scale the business to new markets and products

 

You'll spend your time:

• Challenging existing processes to ensure we are performing controls in line with and/or exceeding industry standards
• Assessing new products, clients, crypto assets/blockchains and geographies
• Executing design and operating effectiveness control tests to ensure that we have full, accurate picture of the effectiveness of the Zodia Custody-wide control landscape;
• Making recommendations to improve control effectiveness and/or identify where new controls are required;
• Identifying and monitoring risk exposure, as well as collaborating with other departments to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk.
• Performing 'deep dives' (assurance reviews) on specific risks and/or across a series of related controls to make sure we have the correct control coverage in place and they are operating effectively.
• Managing and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders across the three lines of defense

• You have at least 4 years experience working in a banking, or professional services firm in a risk function or a risk-focused compliance role in the second line of defense.

What You Will Be Doing.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review and check for accuracy of a medical file received, ensuring no privacy is breached. Name and DOB on medical evidence must match case to ensure no breach is committed.
• Review and check for accurate and full responses to questions within treating Doctor's reports.
• Call and follow up with GP clinics or Hospitals where cases have missing or incomplete information.
• Ensure documents are linked to cases/queues correctly within our document management system, medEbridge.

About the Job

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our member communication and marketing strategy ensuring that our members are well-informed and engaging with their Rest accounts. 

You will undertake compliance reviews of Rest’s Digital, Brand and Member Experience content, ensuring it aligns with the latest regulatory and legislative standards. You'll play a critical role in the due diligence process to enable seamless, clear, and compliant communication between Rest and our members.  

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance due diligence reviews for all Digital, Brand and Member Experience content included in communications and digital experiences provided to our Members.
• Ensure that the content generated by Rests’ Digital, Brand and Member Experience is compliant and aligned to industry best practice whist accurately representing Rest’s Vision and Brand
• Be the Compliance SME for review of Digital, Brand and Member Experience content and make recommendations for and manage engagement with the internal legal team as required.
• Provide content compliance advice and guidance to the Digital, Brand and Member Experience Leadership teams, representing Line 2 Compliance
• Provide ongoing training to develop the Rest Digital, Brand and Member Experience teams’ knowledge regarding advertising and marketing compliance and industry best practice.
