What does the role involve?

• Availability across Mon-Sun on a rotating roster for 25hrs per week across 5 shifts
• Approx. 6-hour shifts between 5:00am - 2:30pm on any rostered day
• Food Sciences background (ideal but not essential)
• HACCP/Food Handling experience (ideal but not essential)
• You’ll conduct in-depth specification testing including shelf-life testing to ensure products comply with ALDI’s high quality standards.
• You’ll communicate with the Team Leader regarding product quality, specs or anything else which will assist them in decision making.
• You’ll engage and coordinate with the people who make it all happen - our internal and external stakeholders.
• You'll keep your knowledge sharp and up to date, ensuring you're always on top of the latest quality-related issues.

The Quality Assurance Consultant is involved in the provision of high quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislation
• Building sustainable relationships, connections and trust with customers and experts through open and interactive communication
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritisation of workflow
• Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writing
• Resolve emerging problems & handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, follow ups to ensure resolution, customer record interactions and escalation

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the team and reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, you will:

• Support the management of our operational compliance and risk program, ensuring RFM meets all AFS licence, ASX, and Corporations Act obligations.
• Organise and manage key documents and tasks within our compliance system.
• Maintain and update essential compliance registers.
• Foster a culture of compliance, promoting adherence to legal, regulatory, and fiduciary duties.
• Prepare reports for the Internal Compliance Committee and the Board.
• Assist in updating and finalising policies, managing version control, and driving process improvements.
• Provide crucial support with verification, due diligence, and document production.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills, particularly when working with external service providers.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• A Certificate in Governance Practice or Governance and Risk Management is a plus.
• Qualifications or progress toward a degree in commerce, management, law, corporate governance, or similar fields are highly valued.
• Experience with compliance or legal matters, particularly within financial services, is an advantage.
• Project planning or management skills are also desirable.
