About the role

This is a great time to join our infrastructure engineering team as it embarks on a transformational journey to support the growth of our business. Reporting to our Service Operations Manager, you will be a key member of our fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:

• BAU for L3 escalations
• Priority 1 / Priority 2 incident management for services and platforms
• Performing minor and major infrastructure changes
• Take a lead role in reviewing IT environment and technically assist in onboarding clients

• Email Routing and Security Gateways (Mimecast, Defender)

The role

We’re growing and are seeking a Mobile Engineer to join our global team based in Newcastle!  

You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our mobile platform. Including, but not limited to: writing code, planning and prioritization, debugging and testing, documentation, reliability, deployment, and pair programming.

Compensation: $165,000 - $175,000 salary (including superannuation), employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.

We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that power the API's behind our web and mobile applications. Your primary focus will be on crafting efficient, high-performance code using languages like C#, Go, Java, or Python. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and build software to delight our customers and implement best practices for security, scalability, and operational efficiency. Your expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and orchestration tools will contribute to the seamless deployment and maintenance of our backend infrastructure. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.

About the role: 

• Writing high quality and maintainable code in a modern programming language like C#, Golang, Java or Python.
• Experience in designing and developing highly scalable backend services for RESTful or GraphQL APIs to serve web and mobile applications that solve real-world problems.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deploying and managing backend applications.

• Extensive experience working with cloud-based applications, containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• System architecture design experience and understanding; space/time complexity, API contract design. 
• Good understanding of distributed and scalable systems - you can design, build and maintain complex systems with a desire to work on deep and interesting technical problems.
• Ability to work in fast paced teams and comfort in communicating remotely through chat, docs, video calls, and other collaborative online tools.

The role

We’re growing and need to hire a Frontend Engineer to join our global team based in Newcastle!  

You’ll be responsible for creating and integrating features across CHL products with a vision that is technologically future proofed, and in a manner that continues to inspire our holidaymakers across the globe. 

You’ll collaborate with other engineers, working on best practices, principles and patterns pertaining to our technology stack. Working closely with user experience designers, as well as the greater business to ensure products and features are developed to the standards expected by CHL.

We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer

We are looking for a talented frontend engineer with solid experience to join our Web SDK team. The Web SDK team consists of frontend experts, tasked with improving the Web SDK that allows Rokt's partners to unearth additional value from their e-commerce funnels and beyond the transaction moment. The Web SDK integrates seamlessly into our partners' web apps and enables targeted and personalised marketing messages and offers to be displayed at optimal points along with the e-commerce flow. Rokt's large marketplace brings about really interesting challenges for this team around scale, performance, security, flexibility, user experience and interoperability. Some of the technologies that they use include TypeScript, Docker, Buildkite, BrowserStack and a host of other services on AWS.

About the role 

• Design, develop, test, deploy and improve code that solves real-world problems
• Produce and maintain high-quality code. Optimise the code we deliver to users for maximum performance. Every millisecond and kilobyte matters
• Manage priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Own and operate with autonomy in solving problems
• Support and work with other engineers on best practices, architecture, and quality.
• Take responsibility for the system health, managing risk and security

• 5+ years experience building web applications with a strong depth of knowledge in Javascript/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of Web and HTTP fundamentals including server interaction, combined with experience building interfaces with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, Vue or similar

• Capability around setting up and managing build/packaging/release pipelines of web applications
• Cross-browser/platform, CI/CD automation experience paired with expertise in testing frameworks: Unit test, Integration test and end-to-end test
• Ability to turn ambiguity into clarity, and being comfortable treading new ground
