About the role

Team Global Express (TGE) are seeking an ambitious and solutions driven Business Development Executive to join our team. This role will have a strong focus on identifying and providing bespoke solutions to national customers in growth industries with dependencies on value added services in both the B2B and B2C environment. It will require you to have an entrepreneurial spirit and vision to create opportunities and have the ability to oversee the rollout of the operational solution. We strive for a culture of service excellence, flexibility in meeting the customer needs and the ability to design bespoke solutions. This provides us with a competitive advantage and enables significant growth opportunities. You’ll be joining a collaborative, inclusive and diverse team that values camaraderie and works seamlessly together. Reporting to a results-driven Manager, you’ll have the space to excel and thrive. Previous sales experience within the transport industry (while not mandatory) will see you stand out.

What you’ll do

• Identify and secure new customers for Team Global Express, targeting major revenue opportunities.
• Implement and monitor a customer relationship framework.
• Establish gap analysis by customer in terms of cross selling opportunities for other GE products and/or GE Group opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals/bespoke solutions to potential customers.
• Ensure all new customer experience and smooth onboarding process.
• Driving revenue growth to achieve budget. 
• Develop and maintain working relationships with key contacts in the other Team Global Express businesses to uncover and cross-sell bespoke solutions

What you’ll bring

Are you an energetic sales professional with a positive mindset that can hit the ground running? Ideally you will come from the Transport and Logistics industry. Alternatively, if you bring a wealth of business development experience from sectors such as Mining, FMCG or Retail and are eager to transition into Transport and Logistics, this opportunity could be ideal for you. As a proactive self-starter, you’ll embody the spirit of a true hunter, passionate about achieving sales targets while providing excellent customer support. Your analytical skills will come into play as you delve into data to uncover gaps and additional opportunities. A consultative sales approach, being a true team player and a tenacious networking ability will see you succeed in this role. Along with your previous experience as in business development, you will also be;

• Experienced within the Transport and Logistics industry is ideal but not mandatory
• A self-motivated and result-oriented individual.
• Passionate for sourcing new business while creating solutions to our customers. 
• Excellent listener, negotiator and can present with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A team player, energetic, competitive but supportive of others.
• Experienced with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

What is the role all about?

 Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Implement a personal sales call plan that is adaptable to business needs and flexible with market trends
• Build, develop and maintain relationships with current customer base
• Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities
• Conduct Market Research to source new corporate rooms business
• Maintain effective communication with the Director of Sales and Marketing, providing  market intelligence on a regular basis and an understanding of competitor strengths, weaknesses and ongoing sales activities
• Participate and represent Accor at key industry/trade events
• Accurately record call plan activities, contacts, rate structure and other pertinent client information in the Sales database

Role Description

Our team collaborates with our Customers and Partners during the project lifecycle to share their extensive knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform and product suite. Combined with their experience in technical architecture, enterprise integration, and business solution implementation, they directly drive towards the best possible solutions. They paint a solution vision, architect the system and provide guidance during the implementation. Based on seniority they are involved in the building of solutions (configuration and coding) and/or leading diverse teams of resources in delivery or in strategic aspects.

Program Architects serve as strategic advisors and Salesforce product and platform guides to the company’s largest enterprise customers. They typically engage at C-level and drive conversations with our customer’s enterprise architects and business users equipped with standard methodologies for enterprise architecture functions such as security, performance, development process, and application governance.

To be successful in the role you:

• Ensure scalable and standard methodology solutions to meet and exceed customer needs
• Guide the evaluation of business and technical requirements
• Build relationships with key collaborators and team members
• Act as lead architect for the overall engagement by coordinating and aligning work of multiple architects on the team
• Align with project and engagement managers to support planning and implementation in close collaboration with the customer
• Review and guide project vision and direction, implementation approach and key artefacts
• Direct early solution evaluation, including proactive management of issues and effective engagement with executives, the account team, engineering, and product management
• Direct and mentor diverse teams, such as customers, partners, and colleagues in technical delivery aspects, as well as non-technical topics such as communication strategies or executive influence
• Fuel our internal growth by identifying, leading or contributing to internal initiatives, such as innovations, building up a strategic brand, and nurturing teammates' skills by sharing knowledge.
• Where required, support pre-sales activities to position Salesforce Services
• Contribute to broader goals by becoming a citizen philanthropist and give back to our communities by joining or leading volunteering activities

Basic Requirements

• Prior experience in the Public Sector/Health industry is an advantage.
• Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture including Cloud, Integration Technologies, Master Data Management.
• Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
• Experience in guiding customers and project members in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology for business use cases
• Work independently and as part of a distributed team and a willingness to take ownership of problems
• Rapidly learn new technologies as well as strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills
• Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
• Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs

Preferred Requirements

• A detailed understanding of Web Services, Data Modeling, Cybersecurity requirements and Enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise integration tools (ESBs and/or ETL tools), and common integration design patterns with enterprise systems (e.g. CMS, ERP, HRIS, DWH/DM)
• Ability to build and maintain key relationships with C-level / mid-level and key decision makers
• Experience of defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform including coded solutions
• Salesforce Industries and Salesforce Certifications
• Affiliated to industry forums such as TM Forum (SID, eTOM).
• TOGAF and Industry Architecture qualifications.
• Agile Methodology certification such as Scaled Agile Framework.
