We are currently on the lookout for a Junior to Mid-Weight Product Designer to build user-centric digital products for Australia’s biggest brands, in collaboration with our talented Product Lead and multidisciplinary creative team.

Your scope will include:

• Involvement in the end-to-end digital products (web/apps) design process – from building wireframes to finished UI that implement dev-ready design systems in Figma
• Design work in Figma such as system build outs, design exploration tasks, writing documentation, creating component libraries, and developing prototypes
• Involvement in user research and analysis and incorporate feedback into design iterations
• Mapping out user flows, writing user stories and other UX-related tasks
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including project managers, developers, and other designers to deliver on projects

What type of person will be successful in this role?

• A junior to mid weight Product Designer with 1-3 years’ experience, ideally in an agency environment
• Someone who has a passion for solving complex client/user problems and transforming them into intuitive UX/UI designs for web and mobile applications
• A strong visual eye for beautiful user interfaces
• Proficiency in Figma building wireframes, prototypes, component libraries and design systems
• Experience with creating and maintaining design systems (experience with a complex multi-brand design systems - working with design tokens are a plus)
• Has been involved from workshop stage to conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations
• An understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and other designers and is comfortable with some ambiguity
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and present your work to stakeholders
• The ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

• Experience leading product discovery, creating product vision, and contributing to the overall product strategy & roadmap in support of company wide goals and objectives
• Proven experience managing a high performing team in a software product (preferably web-based)
• Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces - ability to create high quality wireframes and mockups
• Clear and demonstrated ability to grow and market a product
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, including modern web architecture
• Ability to process and analyse complex data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions (ideally using SQL)
• Experience conducting formal and informal customer interviews, deriving qualitative insights
• Preferably have a technical degree (computer science, engineering, math, science, etc.) or equivalent experience

Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following (let us know!):

We’re looking for a Senior Strategic Product Consultant to support the ANZ team. In this role, you’ll leverage your consultative mindset, knowledge of the construction industry, and Procore’s software platform to provide our customers with best practices for adopting and utilizing the Procore platform. You’ll partner with Implementation Project and Customer Success Managers to supplement customer training with industry technical knowledge of cloud-based software and Procore platform expertise. In addition, you will also collaborate with industry stakeholders to identify issues and industry needs while working with the Product and Marketing departments to innovate upon our software offering, improve customer utilization, and communicate enhancements to the industry. Successful candidates are curious and passionate technology enthusiasts and promoters of modernizing the construction industry through technological advancement.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Product Consultants, APAC, and is based in our Sydney office. This is not an independent contractor position. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Work with Implementation Project Managers to develop customers into Procore experts and evangelists through training and consultation.
• Conduct group training webinars and in-person sessions to educate customers on Procore tools.
• Leverage knowledge of the construction industry to improve customer business processes in Procore and across the customer’s entire organization.
• Leverage knowledge of the Procore platform to consult and create solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Provide the highest level of service and education to Procore’s customers through clear and effective communication.
• Foster a positive team culture by onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to develop best practices and drive Procore’s evolution as a market leader.
• Leverage industry knowledge and collaborate with industry stakeholders to identify local needs within the Procore Platform while working with Product and Marketing to innovate upon our offering, communicate enhancements, and improve customer utilization.
• Develop a mastery of Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, emerging technologies, and Customer Success best practices.
• Up to 30% travel to customer sites (may include domestic and international), industry events, and other Procore offices.

What we’re looking for: 

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Construction industry professionals with 5+ years of experience looking to transition into a fast-paced software training and advisory role.
• Construction industry professionals with a curious mindset who are passionate about driving industry change through technology. 
• Previous experience as Contracts Administrator, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar with direct industry experience.
• Experience with end-to-end construction lifecycle including Project Management principles, Document Management/Control, Communication Management, Quality and Safety Management. 
• Experience with procurement, schedule/program, and construction financials including managing contracts, budget, retention, progress claims, and variations. 
• Experience with takeoffs, estimates/proposals, tender/bid management, tender/bid leveling, and buyout and contract negotiations.
• Experience with contracts (lump/stipulated sum, cost plus, and guaranteed maximum price - GMP, Design, and Construct - D&C), variations, and invoicing with architects, engineers, head contractors, subcontractors, and/or vendors.
• Experience establishing SOPs preferred
• Training or software support preferred
• Experience using Procore preferred
