Our client operates a group of companies that form a one-stop shop encompassing healthcare, employment, training, real estate, and media organisations. The marketing team at our client has been instrumental in their continuous success, consistently exceeding quarterly targets over the last four years. They seek a social media specialist to join the marketing team and further their achievements.
We are Looking for someone to work in their Sydney head office NSW 2144, with the right attitude, knowledge, experience, and skills to join the team.
Position Overview
As the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, you will manage our social media platforms, execute paid advertising campaigns, and support the development and execution of broader marketing initiatives. You will work closely with our graphic designer, web designer, and copywriter to create integrated marketing campaigns and ensure a cohesive and engaging brand presence across all channels. This hands-on role blends creativity, strategy, and analytics to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Management:
o Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance brand presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
o Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (graphics, videos, copy) tailored to each platform’s audience.
o Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media.
o Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand relevant and engaging.
o Analyse social media metrics to track performance and optimise content strategies for better engagement and growth.
• Paid Advertising:
o Manage and execute paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
o Monitor ad performance, analyse data, and make adjustments to optimise ROI.
o Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for paid media to support promotions, product launches, or events.
• Marketing Campaign Execution:
o Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and promotions that align with company objectives.
o Work closely with the marketing team to create integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.
o Coordinate with external vendors, influencers, and partners to support marketing initiatives.
o Provide regular reporting and updates on the effectiveness of campaigns and marketing efforts.
• Content Creation:
o Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing content for social media and marketing materials.
o Develop and implement engaging blog posts, newsletters, and email campaigns.
• Brand Consistency:
o Ensure all social media and marketing efforts reflect the brand's voice, values, and overall messaging.
o Help refine brand guidelines as necessary based on campaign performance and market feedback.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with paid advertising platforms (Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas for campaigns and content.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, etc.).
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.

• Proficiency in using Martech tools, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant social media tools.
• Skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to establish and attain company-specific KPIs.
