We are looking for Port Operations Supervisors to join our Geraldton Port team on a permanent basis. The role involves leading our team of Operators, Operator/Maintainers, and Loader Operators to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Monitor stockpiles and shed capacity, and approving loader plans for ramps, pads, windrows, and runways.
• Conduct or assign senior staff to carry out pre-starts, including ship loading pre-starts.
• Maintain awareness of shipping schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet demand.
• Ensure the effective utilisation of maintenance management software (MEX) for tracking and scheduling maintenance activities.
• Conduct field interactions and investigate incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist with record-keeping, data collection, and reporting on operational performance, including job scorecards for staff.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on operational performance and resource requirements.
• Schedule employee shifts to ensure adequate coverage for leave and shutdown periods.
• Demonstrate and promote strong safety values among team members.
• Lead operations and team members to ensure safe and productive port operations.
• Coordinate loader movements and allocate downtime for repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Electrical Supervisor to schedule routine maintenance activities.

The primary objectives of the role are to assist portfolio managers in the investment administration of portfolios, and support the delivery and ongoing management of the Portfolio Management System, to deliver a quality investment management service to Rest.

• Ensure that the internal Investment Management Systems are accurate and consistent with the fund’s custodian’s records;

• Ensure an effective, efficient and secure settlement process is implemented and maintained and liaise with the Custodian and other counterparties in respect of settlements;
• Contribute towards development and improvement of portfolio management reporting processes and settlement systems;
• Other operational, administrative and analytical processes as directed.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to support our local team and supervise on-the-ground operations. You'll be someone who is willing and able to get hands-on in order to get the job done and grow the business.

What you'll do

●      Drive forward Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management

●      Support Warehouse Operations:

○      Repair vehicles as required and coordinate the workshop priorities

○      Oversee a smooth inflow/outflow process of vehicles from the workshop to the street, so that we can maximise the number of vehicles available to be ridden

○      Ensure that battery charging is conducted in a way that adequately services rider demand

○      Manage inventory in your location ensuring its accurate and up to date

○       Ensure all warehouse safety procedures are followed

●      Support Fleet Operations:

○       Marshal vehicles as required and coordinate marshaling priorities

○       Respond promptly to resolve any vehicle-related complaints received from the council or community

○       Ensure all on-road safety procedures are followed

●      Coordinate and supervise the team of Scooter Marshals and Fleet Techs who support the operations

●      Review key operational metrics and manage a tight ship

●      Innovate constantly on existing processes and products

●      Support City Leads in other ways as required, including running or coordinating Beam’s in-person safety initiatives and providing customer service support

●      Proactive and hands-on attitude - you’ll be doing physical work as required (e.g. driving the van and doing vehicle repairs in the warehouse). Previous mechanic/warehouse experience is viewed favorably

●      Self-starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business so this is a great position to fast track your start-up career

●      Experience with people management and training

This is a permanent position with the ability to facilitate full-time or part-time hours.

What does the role look like?  

• Provide administrative support to the Store Operations Directors and Executive Management in a professional and efficient manner
• Answering phone calls, email correspondence, filing and meeting minutes
• Assist in the creation and preparation of correspondence, documents, and reports, ensuring they are treated with the strictest confidence
• Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams and any relevant stakeholders
• Ensure the efficient flow of correspondence and information related to the department
• Demonstrate initiative and take accountability for set tasks and responsibilities within the required timeframes

Our Store Operations department, based at our Head Office in Minchinbury NSW, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Specialist to join the Store Operations Projects team. This is a permanent position with the ability to facilitate full-time or part-time hours.

As a Project Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating activities and meetings, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders, and monitoring department progress to enhance our Store Operations nationally.  

What does the role look like? 

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among key stakeholders and project teams through memos, work instructions, and formal submissions
• Organise and facilitate meetings, inclusive of scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking and follow-up action items
• Ensure department documentation is accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, while providing recommendations for improvement
• Track project and department progress to identify potential risks or delays, providing updates to stakeholders through generating status reports
• Support project teams with the creation of project plans, defining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements, including coordination and allocation of project resources
• Support the Executive Manager as required with general administrative duties

A Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering the best customer experience that contributes to the store’s sales and profit. As a Sales Advisor, you’ll always put customers first, offer assistance and share your product and fashion knowledge. You’ll create an environment that is easy for customers to shop through store operations and great garment care. You will also share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues, offering help where needed to build positive working environment. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide great customer experience. 
• Fold, hang, display and merchandise garments to maximise selling opportunities. 
• Actively process, stock and replenish garments on the sales floor and in the stock room. 
• Open, unpack and label merchandise with security tags. 
• Support customer purchases and returns in the register. 

The Associate Operations Producer - Programming and Operations works in a team of Producers tasked with the daily media asset management of content on the 9Now platform. 

Join Nine’s programming department to contribute to broadcast and 9Now content strategy while gaining insights into television content and audiences!

The daily responsibilities of this role include but won't be limited to: 

• Uploading and scheduling of VOD series, seasons, episodes & clips 
• Compiling VOD episodes for publish 
• Ensuring metadata quality assurance across all series and episode descriptions
• Using editorial judgement editing thumbnails and carousel slides 
• Scheduling and monitoring live stream events 
• Updating homepage rails and connected TV feeds 
• Escalate issues as they arise with the Technology, Product and the wider Programming & Operations teams. 
• Liaising with internal and external Operations teams to ensure that content is published as scheduled 
• Quality control of VOD, Live and key art assets on the 9Now platform
