Join their growing team as a full-time Mechanical Engineering Technician, with a competitive salary of $70-80K AUD per annum plus superannuation. Scope of the role:
- Assist senior Engineers in preparing designs and layouts for cleaning equipment, machinery and products under senior engineers, ensuring operational requirements are met.
- Select and recommend the selection of tools, machines, and cleaning products for commercial and industrial use as required.
- Oversee the assembly and installation of new and modified cleaning machineries at on and off sites ensuring correct setup and integration for the operation.
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to implement upgrades and modifications to cleaning machinery, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify operational issues in cleaning equipment, recommending solutions to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Organize inspections and perform diagnostic tests to ensure the equipment in use operates within safety and performance standards.
- Supervise field and lab tests for new cleaning technologies and systems, analyzing results to recommend adjustments or improvements for further implementation.
- Estimate costs and material quantities for custom orders and large-scale cleaning system installations, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
- Collect and analyze performance data on equipment, generating detailed reports to inform system enhancements and operational improvements.
- Lead repair and maintenance teams, ensuring high standards of product quality and driving customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that the design, installation and maintenance strictly adhere to regulatory requirements, including occupational health and safety standards, to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
To be considered for this role, you should
- A relevant technical qualification - Diploma or higher
- Have at least 2 years of similar relevant experience in optimizing mechanical systems
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety (WHS) and environmental regulations
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in handling clients and external stakeholders
- Precision in handling technical operations
