We craft world-class high performance, high availability, web applications in small autonomous Agile squads.
 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with a strong background in web development and expertise in React 18, GraphQL and NodeJS. As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and implement web applications that are not only visually stunning but also performant, responsive, and user-friendly. You also enjoy mentoring and coaching other team members. You are also the one who takes pride in improving squad level practices and standards.

Ideally you are a Frontend-focused Full Stack Engineer , with a broad understanding across a range of technology.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping and breaking down project into engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design and implement visually stunning websites
• Utilise your in-depth knowledge of React to build scalable and high-performance website
• Collaborate with designers to turn design mockups into fully functional, responsive websites
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code while following best practices and coding standards
• Write unit and integration tests
• Improve squad level practices and standards by staying current on emerging trends
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, sharing your expertise and knowledge of software development

As an CX Engineer (IT Logistics and Workshop technician), you will provide support to Field Service delivery for device and common application technology. You will do this by fulfilling a range of tasks focused on maintaining a healthy supply chain to the field team.

In addition, you will assist in providing an IT concierge service at a pick-up / drop-off (PUDO) point also knowns as the Tech Lounge. This role is located on site at a customer office South of Brisbane.

Your core responsibilities will consist of:

• Providing a Level 1 IT support service for all end user walk-ups
• Assist users by appropriately directing them to various additional support channels via established processes and procedures.
• Process incoming IT Stock – receipt / validate incoming stock, put away stock into shelves for IT use, update system stock quantities
• Stock maintenance – stocktake locations including Minimum stock level (MSL) spot checks.
• Storeroom hygiene – ensure storeroom is maintained by disposing of excessive packaging, safety standards/processes are followed, stock is stored in designated locations
• Complete basic repairs to serviceable end user devices – laptop battery replacement, memory upgrades, Customer Replaceable Unit (CRU) swap outs (eg. Desktop CPU Fans).
• Process device warranty with 3rd party hardware vendors (end-to-end). Dell, Microsoft, Apple (lodge RMA, schedule onsite repairs or ship devices for repair / replacement and return repaired items to usable stock).
• Work with team leads and managers to develop improvement recommendations for all areas within this role (Logistics, Repairs, Tech Lounge)
• Update process documentation (Knowledge Management)
• Ensuring all policies, procedures and work instructions are followed
• Other duties relevant to customer IT support as required.

About You

• A passion for hand-on IT in all forms
• IT certification – Cert IV Information Technology or similar (CompTIA A+)
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Practical and demonstratable experience in end user device support
• Have a desire to improve processes and procedures.
• Pride yourself on your ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a high attention to detail
• 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role
• 1+ years’ experience in IT role highly regarded but not necessary
