About You 

• End-to-end Trades supervisor experience to clients through safe operation of all tradespersons, contractors, public and customers.

• High levels of customer service and communication

• Ensure compliance with all statutory Health, Safety, Security and Environment requirements safety measures and systems are implemented in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and customer safety requirements.

Supervising the local Sydney Corporate Services team, you will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day activities providing a seamless and engaged experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for;

Tasks include:

• Visitor Management
• Supervising the delivery of Reception & Meeting room services  
• Supervising the delivery of premium standard tenancy operations 
• Accountability for team performance including innovation and efficiencies.
• Event Administration, catering fulfilment & VIP Hosting.
• Supervision of the mailroom operation including regular key stakeholder engagement and updating of processes and procedures
• Rostering and leave management of team.
• Audio Visual & Basic IT Support to stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining relationships with building management, contractor stakeholders and internal department heads.

What you’ll do as an On-Site Representative/Fleet Supervisor: 

The On-Site Representative is responsible for providing quality transport and distribution services to the customer whilst maximising the profitability and productivity of the business. You will also coordinate the operations of the distribution fleet, operating out of the customers premises, and coordinate the sortation and preparation of stock to be forwarded. You will act as the key contact point for the delivery partners, customer, and their stakeholders for customer service or operational queries.

Typical duties responsibilities may also include (but not limited to):

• Ensure all deliveries presented by the customer each day are allocated to suitable vehicles
• Ensure the freight is presented to the drivers in required locations and check for damages
• Work closely with customer staff to develop efficiencies, meet KPI’s and improve the customer relationship
• Communicate allocation plans to stakeholders where required
• Coordinate backup vehicles where required

What are we looking for in an On-Site Representative/Fleet Supervisor? What’s important? 

• 2+ years experience in a similar role (as described above). You may also have had experience as a Fleet Supervisor and/or allocator, very transferrable skill-sets for this position
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced/pressurised environment
• Exceptional delegation skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• A ‘continuous improvement’ mindset, with great attention to detail

Job Description

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Engineering Maintenance Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the operation and maintenance of all industrial plant and equipment, installations design and upgrade changes.

The key focus of the role is to support Safety, Quality, Production, Continuous Improvement through condition and TPM functions that underpin OEE improvement, inclusive of contractor management, participation and lead where required in project management improvement projects. This role is key for developing the Villawood engineering team.

As the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at our Villawood site you will be self-driven with a strong ability to “get things done” safely and effectively, you will uplift capability across the site to ensure and embed a culture of continuous improvement whilst maintaining the highest safety standards.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Schedule, supervise and progress the condition and preventative maintenance practices and schedules to efficiently support the production line equipment and supporting services of the manufacturing process to minimise production downtime.
• Coordinate the requirements for new equipment designs, surveys and maintenance schedules to applicable Australian Standards
• Co-ordinate all contractor support, services and maintenance activity inclusive of cost and quote establishment, induction completion, JSEA completion and other risk assessments
• Lead discussion and implementation on engineering design upgrade improvements.
• Play an active part in highlighting to Site Manager areas for reducing production costs such as waste, setup time etc.
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory.
• Lead team and contractors with focus on safety and regular participation in hazard identification and WHSE campaigns that actively drive a culture of behavioural safety.
• promote improvements to safety systems in use on all equipment and production lines
• Continue development of team and carryout regular Toolbox Talk meetings on Safety and Quality.

Your skills and experience

• Solid experience in a Maintenance team leadership role within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of OEE, Root Cause Analysis and TPM operations
• Familiar with MEX CMMS maintenance operating system (preferred)
• Familiar with SAP system (preferred)

• Highly developed Safety awareness and ability to drive a safety before production culture.

As a Site Supervisor at Tech Span Building, you will play a vital role in overseeing the construction of large custom commercial buildings within the Greater Sydney area. This is a new role that requires a hands-on approach, managing projects onsite, coordinating with trades, liaising with site superintendents, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

With a team of expert design consultants, we assist clients throughout the project, from initial discovery to detailed design, documentation, and installation. Techspan’s typical scope of works involves structural steel, cladding, concrete panels and some occasional involvement with slab and footings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with trades, site superintendents, clients, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Coordinate onsite activities, including pre-site inspections, project site visits, WHS Compliance and materials collection as required.
• Manage defects reviews on completed sites, conduct periodic visits to low oversight sites, and ensure WH&S protocols.
• Collaborate with the Construction Manager in Armidale for effective communication and project coordination.
• Utilize basic Microsoft skills, create professional emails, work with tools like Smartsheet, and negotiate with subcontractors.
• Be on-site or off-site at 7 am, participating in daily Teams Meetings to plan daily activities.
• Handle office-based tasks, including coordinating SWMS, sending RFQs, managing requisitions, and contributing to Tech Span's values.
• Ensure procurement aligns with Company processes and policy, negotiating pricing, timing, and scope in support of procurement teams where required.
• Monitor ongoing profitability, contribute to End-of-Job reviews, and prepare reports for the leadership team.

• Proven experience in industrial commercial and structural steel construction, including experience with precast projects.
• Sydney-based ensuring efficient coverage of project sites with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with trades and clients to ensure long-term relationships and project efficiencies
• Physical fitness for on-site inspections and defect reviews.
• Technical proficiency in construction management tools, including Procore and industry platforms.
• Strong ability to interpret construction documents and use tools like Excel for project-related tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
