• Seek to implement procedures to assist in improving the efficiency of repairs and maintenance to maintain acceptable costs and high standards
• Conduct general inspections of the Property, recording the condition of property, plant and equipment and fixtures and fittings
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining Department expenses (including wages), ensuring the Department is operating in a way that maximises profitability and within budgetary guidelines 
• Record the costs of repairs done by maintenance personnel and contractors accurately
• Input requisitions and invoices into the Company’s payment system

About the role:

In this role you will manage your team effectively to ensure you and the team are working together to successfully deliver a world-class customer experience, guaranteeing uninterrupted and secure operation of the facilities. This includes the coordination and management of site logistics, security, general maintenance outside of technical zones, internal and external presentation of the facilities and administration associated with effective workflow management. • Manage Data Centre facilities operation on a daily and on-going basis

• 3+ years' experience in Facilities Management and critical environments requiring 99.99% availability

We are currently looking for a Data Centre Technician to join the facilities team which operates on a 24/7 basis.

Based in Macquarie Park, the purpose of this role is to support the Facility Management team with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service.

The successful candidate will be required to work a 4 – 5 – 5 rotating shift roster with day shifts from 7am - 7pm and night shifts from 7pm - 7am.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, a maintenance employee forms a critical part of the restaurant team. This role is suited to an individual who is highly organised, is able to work autonomously and displays high attention to detail. A maintenance employee is primarily focused on cleanliness of the restaurant (internally and externally) and preparing the restaurant for trade each day.

This is a part-time position with typical working hours between 4am and 12pm. Days and hours may change and vary in time to meet the needs of the restaurant. This position falls under the Miscellaneous Award, 2020.
