About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Systems Improvement SME to join the Santos team, based at our global headquarters in Adelaide. This position will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement of asset management systems, as well as identifying and implementing system improvements, enhancements and integrations in relation to maintenance activities.

Key accountabilities include:?
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document requirements.
• Analyse system configuration and data structures, develop solutions to optimise performance and functionality.
• Lead the development and implementation of key system enhancements to the asset management system suite of applications
• Facilitate or undertake data analysis of the Asset management system to ensure consistency of data in line with Santos standards, processes and, conventions.
• Provide Asset management system support for master data and engineering data control personnel
• Coordinate the development, cleansing and maintenance of the asset management system hierarchy in line with established standards
• Develop systems and processes to ensure asset management system data integrity.
• Provide governance, auditing and benchmarking of maintenance performance against Santos Maintenance business processes, KPls and external leading practice targets
This role sits in the maintenance function across ALL operations and is therefore uniquely positioned in the business, providing a overview of not just assets in Australia but also across Alaska and PNG as well. As such, it presents a real opportunity to genuinely add value and improve the business.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in administering and configuring SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modules. In addition, you will possess an ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and will be well versed in business process maintenance.
Ideally, you will also possess experience in and a knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), SCM (Supply Chain) and Finance Modules, whilst a degree qualification, or an ability to demonstrate significant training and experience within directly relevant roles, within large corporate environments would be highly desirable. Furthermore, any experience in SAP certified tools such as Prometheus and NRX, whilst not essential, would certainly be looked upon favourably.
