Major Accountabilities

Organize fitting day sessions with assigned accounts to support ECPs in fitting process on Alcon strategic technical lenses (identification of consumer TGT; selection of lens, solution of technical questions)
Drive ECP interest on fitting to win in new fits / switches and ensure revenue and share growth

Collaborate with BDM’s and broader sales team to understand best fitting opportunities
Establish and develop long-term relationships with key fitters (ECPs) and customers
Become the preferred consultant for technical advice on CL fitting
Build thorough understanding of assigned customer’s needs and requirements
Contribute to create and identify new ideas / approaches to fit technical CLs and ensure best practices sharing
Industry leading reputation by providing best in class technical support to Alcon’s professional customers
Develop and execute joint business planning.
Develops understanding of customer business model, consumer segment and competitive market to influence customer decisions and negotiate contracts.
Develops relevant networks supporting advocacy and key opinion leader plans.
Guides and offers advice to the customers on their market trends and how Alcon products and services meet their needs with the appropriate marketing and sales programs and offerings
Builds strong and enduring business partnerships with Alcon Key Independent customers.
Develops strategic thinking and idea generation, driven from the analysis of customer interactions and feedback
Develops overall conclusions regarding accounts, markets, and competitive business results, using analysis of customer interactions and feedback.
Proactively identifies competitive activity, which may have major, long-term impact on sales goals/strategies and develop initiatives to provide competitive point of difference using knowledge of industry trends and competitive environment.
Works in close collaboration with the Business Development Managers, sales, marketing, professional education stakeholders, to develop customer negotiation strategies and framework, and drive alignment across customers, operating to minimize exposure and maximize return.

An individual with an Optometrist qualification who can also demonstrate a strong level of commercial/business acumen.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously using their own initiative, whilst also working closely with the broader sales team to achieve combined goals.
This person will also work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Professional Education Teams to create innovative and exciting ways of delivering our key technical offerings.

A fantastic opportunity exists to join Cerebral Palsy Alliance in a twelve month parental leave position as the Therapy Manager of the East Maitland team from late March 2024.

The East Maitland therapy team in 2024 will consist of 15 therapists and one allied health assistant. The East Maitland clients are also supported by a team of four Client Services Consultants s who report into a Client Engagement Team Leader. A small site in terms of building foot-print, the team provides the majority of service in the community, including an out-reach service to the Upper Hunter.

In this role you will be supported not only by the Regional Manager (to whom the position reports) but by a network of therapy managers across CPA, and in particular the three other Hunter and Central Coast therapy managers. You will also have access to various modes of leadership training including online courses and face to face sessions facilitated by Regional Managers, internal business partners and external subject matter experts.

The position is site-based, with the opportunity to work from home one/day per week once settled in the role. There will also be days spent at head office in Allambie (Sydney) once every 2-3 months.

Clinical background is beneficial but not essential.

Required Skills

Strong communication skills including conveying expectations, providing feedback, and facilitating team discussions, communicating risks and barriers to the Regional Manager, and effective engagement with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and concerns

You will ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and effectively and will be responsible for maximising the use of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled works. You will have previous experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in a mining or large industrial processing environment. A proactive approach and ability to problem solve along with self-motivation will be highly regarded. Qualifications and Competencies Required: Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment used in large industrial processing environments Proactive approach, and ability to problem solve A current WA Electrical Workers Licence An understanding of AS3000, Mines Regulations and Acts as well as other relevant standards, acts and regulations C class manual drivers licence Highly regarded: A Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation Understanding of Defect Elimination principles and its application Understanding of Maintenance Work Management Processes complete with use of CMMS (i.e. SAP or similar) A High Voltage Switching certificate with High Voltage experience A High Risk Licence for forklift and EWP Unit of competency in confined space and working at heights Applications close Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with shortlisting to commence immediately.
