Working predominantly during the day shift, you will lead a team of maintenance fitters, electricians and external contractors. What you’ll bring

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approx. 2 years’ experience in a similar Mobility role. You will possess excellent knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems. Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS and Enterprise applications. MobileIron, Google admin, VMware WS1 (SEG, UAG, ENS) and/ or Microsoft Intune administration skills would be a huge advantage. About the Role

The Mobility Services team helps companies by supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practises to follow and implement. The team designs, builds and supports solutions end to end allowing our customers to switch to modern managed solutions and support them along the way in conjunction with other Datacom groups.. You will problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how these products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative.

As a Mobility Engineer you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Customers EMM systems with minimal direction; and you will have a focus on ensuring an exceptional customer experience to Datacom’s EMM customer base.

This role is available across all Australian offices (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra) and will require Australian Citizenship to obtain a Baseline or NV1 Clearance.

What you’ll do

As Mobility Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Be available to travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences
• Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
• Operational support of customer systems including proactive monitoring of systems, assisting with incident resolution, performing standard and non-standard changes
• Identification of inefficient procedures or processes and suggesting improvements for implementation
• Produce accurate, concise, and timely reports as required
• Provide "on-the-job" training, guidance, and assistance to less experienced Datacom staff to ensure overall competence in the company continually improves
• Creating efficiencies to enhance our ability to support the customers environment.
• Take responsibility for technical aspects of solutions such as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, projects, proof-of-concept management, and training of Datacom support staff.
• Creation of design documents (HLD, DDD and LLD)
• Build customer environment using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
• Build customer environment using VMware WS1
• Configure Apple Business Manager (VPP and MDM Servers)

• Assume the role of technical leader or design engineer in deployment/refresh projects as required.
• Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (EG: Change/release)
• Identification and escalation of perceived poor practice or inefficiencies
• Ensure all systems are built to agreed processes and design (EG: Build guides)
• Provide technical leadership for major incidents
• Validate and assist in the maintenance of the client’s risk and issues registers
• Complete time recording processes for work performed as required
• Provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting iOS and Android OS devices
• Provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the Google Chrome OS device environment
• Provide device support to meet customer demands for the resolution of incidents, problems and change service requests as well as business improvement initiatives
• Document Risks and Issues in the technologies supported, this includes product lifecycle, support, and licensing
• Assist with, and drive the identification and implementation of shift left initiatives
• Daily checks and monitoring – as required
• Monthly reports - Provide data and analysis of the data as requested
• Documentation – Provide and maintain documentation of systems and services
• Provide Regular and relevant updates to the records of Support and Problem Management processes
• Ensure all tickets are up to date with detailed descriptions of actions taken and information in a timely manner
• Efficient and effective use of the call management system(s) for assigned customers

What you’ll bring

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approx. 2 years’ experience in a similar Mobility role. You will possess excellent knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows 10 operating systems. Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS and Enterprise applications. MobileIron, Google admin, VMware WS1 (SEG, UAG, ENS) and/ or Microsoft Intune administration skills would be a huge advantage. You will bring exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; and will be comfortable and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

As a SOE Engineer you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Customers endpoint systems with minimal direction and engage in project work when they arise. You will have a key focus on ensuring an exceptional customer experience to Datacom’s endpoint customer base.

What you will do

As a SOE Engineer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM and Intune
• Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory – Group Policy Management
• Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
• Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and end point configuration
• Experience with facilitating large and enterprise scale software deployments
• Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts through enterprise grade endpoint management platforms (Intune/SCCM)
• Experience with Packaging desktop applications and configure them for streamlined deployment
• Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues
• Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team
• Identify service improvements, efficiencies and/or cost reductions for Datacom customers

As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

As a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson, you will perform a maintenance function to our various cranes throughout the entirety of our Slabmaking department, with cranes ranging from every day 1-5t up to 450t. While also being directly involved with the planning of maintenance in conjunction with our maintenance coordinators.  

What Will You Do?

In a role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, you will:

• isolate equipment and perform maintenance   
• inspect quality critical equipment and fault find
• plan and organise for shutdowns via our maintenance management system
• contribute to the team with out of hours support as required
• seek ways to continuously improve our maintenance strategies
• work across the Slabmaking site on crane equipment as part of the subject matter experts’ group

 More About You

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll enjoy taking ownership for your work and contributing to the larger team. You will bring:

• mechanical fitter/machinist qualifications consisting of either a Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma.
• experience in a heavy industrial environment
• experience conducting maintenance on DC motor drives
• exposure to maintenance management systems and/or basic computer skills
• an enthusiasm to learn new skills and develop yourself in the role

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at our Melbourne Port Terminal in West Melbourne in a full time Maintenance Electrician position. Reporting to the Asset & Maintenance Manager, the role is responsible for the electrical maintenance of new and existing assets and equipment. The work is varied and there will be the opportunity to provide input and feedback on the maintenance plan.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planned and preventative electrical maintenance works with some minor capital works
• Inspecting all Electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with Australian Standards
• Analysing, diagnosing and repairing faults in critical plant and equipment 
• Working safely in accordance with LDC's safety principles
• Assisting in the development, maintenance and use of safety systems within the maintenance department
• Registering work orders on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Working closely with the maintenance team and supervising peers and contractors when needed.
• Working with contractors and other external service providers and reviewing their performance and ensuring that effective relationships are maintained

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join us in any of our Australian Offices (Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra or Perth). As a member of the technical support team, you’ll interact directly with clients and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You’ll be responsible for the support of server infrastructure, within contracted time frames and service level agreements. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support.

This role requires Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency preferably with baseline/NV1 Clearance. Candidates without citizenship or permanent residency need not apply.

• Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Management of physical server environments such as Cisco Unified Computing (UCS)
• Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, Netbackup and CommVault
• AWS and Azure certification
