Are you our new Injury Management Coordinator?
DOF is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Injury Management Coordinator to join our team In Perth on a part-time basis - 3 days a week.
As the Injury Management Coordinator, you will coordinate and manage the Injury Manage process and Return to Work Program for the APAC region. Tasks will include, but is not limited to:
- Proactively managing the Injury Management Process and Return to Work Programs for DOF - APAC within relevant legislative and company guidelines.
- Ensuring the relevant Country, State or Territory specific Worker’s Compensation legislation is adhered to.
- Managing work and non-work related injuries or illnesses to deliver the best outcome to the employee and Company.
- Managing insurance claims in conjunction with Insurance Specialist and aligned with the DOF Claims process.
- Liaising with the company appointed workers compensation insurers and brokers to ensure there is continual high level strategic analysis of claims to help mitigate costs and ensure workers resume their normal duties as soon as practicable.
- Assisting the HSEQ management team with claim analysis to identify the agency of injuries to address shortfalls.
- Attending claims reviews with insurers on a quarterly basis ensuring effective management and coordination of work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Injury Management Coordinator, including Return to Work Programs in a similar role
- Experience in SOLV Injury management Software essential
- In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Experience in the Oil & Gas sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Allied Health qualification - Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, or similar
- Certificate in Worker’s compensation and Injury Management (desirable); or
- FNS41915 CERT IV in Personal Injury Management (desirable)
