Founded 12 years ago, our purpose is to assist organisations understand and mitigate information security risk, through the provision of an Australian-based team of consultants and skilled engineers that act as an internal, outsourced, information security team. We are seeking a talented and motivated full time Business Development Representative to join our growing cyber security business. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and growing our client base. You will play a key role in identifying leads, pitching our services, and helping closing deals to meet our sales targets.
In this role, you will work closely with account managers to execute lead generation programs. You will also collaborate with our technical team to ensure that our solutions meet the specific needs of our clients. Responsibilities
• Identifying and developing new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound communication while maintaining and expanding the
existing client contact database from various sources
• Making a high volume of outbound sales calls, emails and connection requests to prospects daily
• Discovering and identifying sales opportunities by conducting visits on new customers by discussing their business and building rapport
• Maintaining a view of Security Centric’s current range of services and solutions and continually comparing this with competitors who are active in our market
• Arranging prospect/customer meetings with appropriate sales and pre-sales teams
• Proactively sourcing new leads and use closed-loop lead management to ensure consistent follow-up
• Understanding customer needs and requirements with a view to promoting Security Centric’s offerings in line with those needs
• Creating relationships with potential customers who are early in their buyer journey. Communicating through these relationships informative and pertinent information to our potential and existing customers
• Responding to client queries about solutions, pricing and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Arrange for the provision of services
• Preparing relevant reports
• Maintaining and updating client records in CRM
• Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails
• Engaging with customers as a trusted advisor, listening and understanding their challenges, and communicating this back to the sales team clearly
• Managing of pipeline and forecast using our CRM system
Requirements
• At least 5 years of related work experience or Bachelor level degree in Business Management, Marketing & Communications or similar
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in business development and/or sales in the ICT industry
• Experience in and strong understanding of the ICT industry
Salary
$75,000 to $85,000 base per annum plus commission
