About Cardiac Catheterisation Lab Cabrini's Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory performs over 3000 procedures a year. More than 30 cardiologists, representing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, have regular sessions within the Laboratory. Elective services are offered Monday to Friday however a 24 hour on-call service is available to support the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to grow and be part of a highly dynamic team, providing exceptional care to our patients. If you have a critical care background and are looking to broaden your skill set to include Cardiac Cath Lab skills, we welcome your application. This position would provide support for transition into Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing and successful applicants will be exposed to a range of learning opportunities and you will be supported by senior clinicians in the department. The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab practices independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurses and health care workers in accordance with legislation and protocols. Salary range for RN is $34.01 to $48.05 per hour plus superannuation depending on experience (in accordance with the Cabrini Nurses & Midwives Agreement 2021). Key responsibilities will include:
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Delivering care to patients to meet Cabrini's organisational goals.
Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality
About you You will be a motivated individual with relevant experience in a Critical Care setting and be interested in developing these skills deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values. You will also have:
Current registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable)
Critical Care background
Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
