This rare opportunity will be perfect for an experienced Area Manager who is wanting to take on new challenges to help coach around performance and to provide support and leadership to the Centre Director at each service to ensure that the best quality of care is delivered to both children and families. About the role: Support the Directors and centres to ensure consistent and effective delivery of the company’s educational program, ensuring programs and practices are current and followed. Lead, mentor and positively develop relationships with families and ensure that each individual families’ needs are met. Oversee the strategic plan for each of the services and their offerings for the children and families. Provide support and training to the Centre Director’s and service employees to ensure the safety, care and welfare of the children and their families. Ensure reports regarding children incidents/accidents are reported accurately by the nominated supervisor and oversee the appropriate response to serious incidents and compliance. Set a high expectation to ensure the service is of a high standard of presentation and hygiene making the environment is welcoming, loving and provides children the opportunity to experience both indoor and outdoor environments. Oversee the financial aspects. Ensure that staffing rosters are met that meet the correct child to educator ratio which will include workforce planning and approving new vacancies and position types. Liaising closely with the Approved Provider regarding the general operation of each service. Ensuring the occupancy of each service is optimised and maintained at all times. The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our brand new Orrcon Steel site located in Unanderra as an Electrical Maintenance & Reliability Coordinator. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

This is a fantastic time to come on board and be part of our team to help build our new Pipe and Tube Mill based in the Illawarra. You'll be able to use your electrical skills and experience to support the new venture. Working closely with the Maintenance & Reliability Leader, you’ll assist to conduct and coordinate the electrical maintenance of Tube Mill and auxiliary equipment.

As the Tube Mill commissioning finalizes, you will assume the operational duties of this role, you’ll deliver a quality, cost-effective and flexible maintenance service for the department. You will improve equipment performance and reliability by understanding plant and equipment condition and then implementing corrective actions to restore as required.

What Will You Do?

As part of this brand-new team and site, you will:

ensure safety standards are never compromised, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identified
maintain asset performance and collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance, capability and costs
assist with maintenance and fault finding activities and strive for business improvements
project manage asset maintenance projects aligned to operational objectives
build effective relationships to drive the continuous reliability of our assets
