The GP Sales Representative will be the central contact in connecting customers within their accounts to therapies that advance wellness, prevention, treatments, and cures to the most feared diseases of our time. Central to the GP Sales Representative role will be the introduction of a new & promoted medicines and innovative digital service that will help elevate Health Care Professionals’ patient care. The role is consultative; spanning Pfizer’s entire resource and product portfolio for their customer base and one that will result in long standing and truly valued relationships with customers. The GP Sales Representative will draw on healthcare knowledge and understanding of the health and pharmaceutical industry, as well as Pfizer and the product portfolio, so that customers achieve the solutions they need.   

What You Will Achieve 

Internally known as the GP Health Representative, you will be responsible for supporting customers with their designated portfolio within a defined geographical territory that includes both metro and regional areas.  You will be the single point of contact for relevant Pfizer medicines for your accounts and will ensure a customer centric-comprehensive approach to the way HCP’s treat their patients with all Pfizer brands that are relevant to the customer. 

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term opportunity looking after Canberra, ACT territory. Candidates will also be expected to cover Regional NSW at times.  

How You Will Achieve It 

• Engaging on promotional science-based brand messages where product could support HCP in meeting patient need with engagement also focused on broader range of content (e.g disease state)  
• Acting as key point of contact for seamless (compliant) reactive only connection to Pfizer SMEs and resources  
• Responsible for onboarding customers to new operating model and to new platforms (e.g., Digital Engagement Portal)  
• Orchestrating an ideal customer experience through relevant content selection  
• Driving identified customers to the digital service offerings, opening a world of trusted materials and support that can be tailored to their needs and those of their patients. Ensuring customers gain best value from the services, in conjunction with the Pfizer Virtual Health Representative team who are on hand providing virtual support.   
• Leading relationships with Health Care Professionals travelling across metro and rural locations as well as providing support virtually.    
• Gaining deep understanding of Health Care Professional needs, sharing expert product advice, tailoring data, delivering promotional activities, aligning the customer lifecycle with that of the Pfizer portfolio and connecting them to relevant internal Pfizer people whenever they need it.     
• Provide objective and scientifically sound medical information regarding Pfizer's product portfolio and the diseases states treated. Incorporating the use of educational programs, outcome and other tools which identify the greatest opportunities for improving patient care.    
• Seeking and developing awareness of external market conditions to drive exceptional customer support and insights, connecting customer discussions with external trends and internal developments within Pfizer.  
• Establishing a strong working relationship with the Pfizer virtual Health Representative, KAM and SME Teams and sharing insights from customers to make our digital service offering even better.   
• Managing and achieving annual targets and ensuring adherence to Compliance, Legal, Medical and Regulatory requirements.    

Must Have 

• A Tertiary Degree preferred in Business or Science or a healthcare background (e.g. pharmacist, nurse) with solid knowledge of the industry.    
• Curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset.   
• Analytical skills to identify the connections between data, products and the needs of both Health Care Professionals and patients.   
• Written and verbal communication skills to help build trusted, sustainable relationships with your internal and external stakeholders.    
• Solid understanding of the digital space and a willingness to keep learning and upskilling.   
• Strategic thinking and planning to help customers see beyond the day-to-day.    
• Commercial and business acumen, managing financial budgets, driving sales and achieving performance measures.   
• Sound knowledge of and proven support of Pfizer Policies and Procedures, Compliance requirements as well as the Medicines Australia Code.  
• Demonstrated completion of Medicines Australia training program  
• Able to connect with customers virtually and in person.   
• Can-do attitude and a work ethic underpinned by determination and commitment  
• Valid Driver's Licence

Position Title: REGISTERED NURSE - LEVEL 1 – GRADE 2 – NURSE 2

Reports to (position): Dialysis Clinic Manager Primary purpose of the role:

Responsible to deliver patient centered care within the hemodialysis setting in accordance with organisational core values / standards of practice and codes and guidelines as set out by APHRA. To provide support to the Management Team by participating in the clinical, management, education and quality activities of staff and patients within the clinic.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Participates in the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care within the hemodialysis clinical setting.
• Protects the rights of patients by adhering to Privacy Principles and providing an excellent standard of care.
• Responsible for own professional development and provides education to colleagues, patients and visitors.
• Ensures/promotes a safe, secure and healthy working environment to staff and a comfortable, safe environment for visitors and patients as detailed in the Workplace Health and Safety policy (FMEAU-28).
• Actively participates in the quality improvement process by reporting all incidents, hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Completes clinical and mandatory competencies annually
• Performs defined management functions when required.
• Maintains accurate patient information in medical records, including Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) and abides by confidentiality and Privacy Policy.

Competencies (attitude, skills, typical qualifications & experience)
Essential:

• Registered as a general nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
• Current practicing certificate.
• Understanding of the Quality improvement process and risk management obligations
• Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise (or working towards) in nephrology nursing.
• Ability to continuously reflect on nursing practice and apply learning as appropriate.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to operate within a
• Demonstrated organisational, decision-making and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to be self-directed.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform staff and patient education.
• Knowledge of nursing, nephrology and other professional issues which impact on nursing practice within the specialty.

Desirable:

• Nephrology nursing theory and practice.
• Computer literacy.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role

The Customer Service & Sales Manager (Known internally as Inside Sales Manager, Australia)  will concentrate on the sales success of the Inside Sales Team. Your focus will be to motivate and develop the regional hybrid team ensuring sales targets are exceeded on a monthly basis.  The successful candidate must also maintain a fun, culturally rich environment where people are happy to work.
