Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing crops including bed preparation, fertilising, sowing and cultivation
• Crop management including herbicide and pesticide application
• Operating broadacre farming plant and equipment including airseeder, precision planter, self-propelled spray unit and other farming equipment
• Maintaining plant and equipment
• General farm duties including fencing, repairs and maintenance
• Meeting work health and safety requirements

To be successful in this position:

• You will be physically fit, with a good level of general fitness to meet the physically demanding requirements of the role
• You will hold a current drivers’ licence
• You will be open to ongoing training and development including vocational training
• You will carry out your work as directed in a safe and sensible manner
• You will be flexible and available to work hours and overtime which may vary to meet operational demands
• A positive, can-do attitude is essential
• Previous experience working on a broadacre farming operation, and operating machinery will be highly regarded however is not essential for candidates displaying the right attitude

Applicants with prior experience, or a background in agriculture will be highly regarded for this position.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Sales Consultant to join our friendly termite sales team based in Brisbane. You will be working in your own territory, selling a range of Pest services. You will look to build on solid existing client relationships whilst also using your outstanding sales skills and outgoing personality to win new sales and clients in your area. To help achieve this, we will provide you with a competitive base salary, a highly rewarding uncapped commission structure, a company vehicle, a mobile phone, a tablet, and further career opportunities. You will also be given full product training, with hands-on assistance from the Sales Manager and the Sales Team.
