About the Farms

Our properties are an 8 min drive (9km) North-West of Moree, NSW. We have 280,000 drip irrigated citrus trees, last year we harvested 5,000 tonnes of barley and this month 11,000 bales of irrigated cotton were picked.

Our citrus is harvested 9 months of the year for juicing and goes to our other business grovejuice.com.au who supplies our own brands as well as the four major supermarkets and export market in South-East Asia.

Practice Information:
The practice is a fully accredited principal run general practice, operating for over 9 years.  The team enjoys the busy, friendly community practice that is both vibrant and supportive. Busy GP owned AGPAL accredited practice, with an established patient base. The practice consists of two doctors or 1.5 FTE and is supported by registered nurses, a practice manager and reception staff. The team is great and friendly. The busy practice caters for walk-in patients who are triaged and treated in the three-bay assessment treatment room. The practice provides modern facilities with a dedicated surgical and procedural room. Pathology collection centre, part-time Psychologist and Dietitian are also onsite.
Position Description:
The practice is looking to hire 2 more GP’s in the Noosa Hinterland of Pomona, to service the growing demand and population on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.  On offer is flexibility of hours and lifestyle with full time or part time positions available.  
 
Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday and weekends are optional, flexible.

This large group Medical Centre offers mixed billing. The practice provides rural generalist health services to over 15 thousand people in the district, on both sides of the QLD/NSW border. They are passionate about supporting their community, clinical teaching, achieving excellence through innovation, and reconciliation with Australia's first peoples. The Medical Centre is a renowned teaching practice and its doctors have a long history of involvement in General Practice Training through mentoring medical students, junior doctors, and Registrars. They provide antenatal care, postnatal care, immunisations, Indigenous health outreach, well-established chronic disease clinics, palliative care, a rostered after-hours service, aged care, and holistic care for our patients from pre-conception to palliative care. The local hospital is staffed by doctors from the Medical Centre and you have the option of a hospital appointment if you wish. Goondiwindi Hospital supports visiting Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Cardiology, General Surgery and Mental Health services. Position Description:
The practice is looking for a full-time General Practitioner who is seeking to make a long-term commitment to the group practice. The successful applicant will need to have previous General Practice experience with an interest in Rural Medicine. Additional skills such as Anaesthetics, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Indigenous Health, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine would be highly regarded. The Medical Centre is a family-friendly practice. Fellowed GP's have access to flexible working arrangements and negotiable remuneration will be reflective of your experience and commitment to the practice.

CCPDMA Sectioning is internationally recognised as the gold standard for treatment of aggressive BCCs and SCCs in high risk areas. Higher cure rate, lower recurrence rate, smaller scars as the margin clearance needed is only 1-2mm.
High Risk Melanoma Clinic - 2 patients per hour with a combination of 3D TBP and  skin check - this is only for doctors with a high degree of training in Dermoscopy (at least an advanced Certificate).We do find on an average at least one melanoma per day.
Fully supported theatre sessions.

If you are already a senior and experienced skin cancer practitioner and do not feel the need to access hands-on training - you could still come use our facilities to offer Rapid frozen section with CCPDMA or the "High Risk Melanoma Clinic" and we do offer paid Teaching opportunities.
