Building on the growth already achieved by our sales team, we’re looking to grow our Enterprise Account Executive team throughout Australia. 

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll drive Contentful’s growth by leading the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to close. You’ll be instrumental in driving new revenue opportunities, customer enablement initiatives, and leading a consultative sales process by speaking the language of both professional developers and business leaders. Working in partnership with our Customer Success team, you’ll nurture and grow a customer base within Australia. 

As an Enterprise Account Executive in this critical market, you will be the point of contact for both customers and prospects. Your role is to identify and develop new sales opportunities and grow existing accounts while ensuring customers meet their business objectives with Contentful.

• Position, negotiate, and close new logo and expansion business ($50-500K ACV) in the Australian territory
• Meet quarterly and annual sales goals by developing an account strategy and pipeline, managing internal and client processes, maintaining sales reports, developing market and competitor knowledge, delivering presentations to customers, and creating sales proposals
• Manage RFI/RFQ requests with Contentful internal and customer teams
• Refine and evolve our “land-and-expand” model in collaboration with Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams
• Seek to understand the digital experience challenges of prospects and current customers while aligning the ROI of Contentful with those challenges to ensure a value-based selling approach
• Work closely with Sales Engineers and Solution Architects to uncover technical challenges and opportunities, as well as the greater sales ecosystem (including, but not limited to Sales Development Representatives, Account Managers, and Customer Success) to drive new business and retain customers
• Develop innovative proposals, position complex pricing structures, and negotiate contracts and deal-closing requirements quickly and efficiently
• Work closely with Customer Success & Marketing teams to ensure that best practices of Contentful are shared and implemented with the respective customers
• Your compensation plan includes Monthly and Annual accelerators for over-achievement against your bookings goals.

• 4-8+ years of experience selling a technical platform 
• 5+ years of individual quota carrying experience with a history of exceeding quota
• Working knowledge of selling and positioning to customers a technical SaaS and/or PaaS platform
• 2+ years of growing and expanding existing customer accounts in a SaaS and/or PaaS environment
• Demonstrated ability to sell transactions of $150k+ to organizations with $1b+ in revenue, experience engaging VP and C Level executives
• Experience working with a Partner ecosystem to land and expand customers.
• Experience closing $$ASP

About the role:
In a Project Management – Technology role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure build-outs.

About the team:

Our PM teams work on significant projects with major banking and finance clients within the Capital Markets sector.

What you will be doing:

• Working closely with clients, local colleagues and the wider global team you will manage significant projects.

• Manage project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed

• Manage project risk and assist with problem resolution

• Develop, define and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.

• Ensure requirements for internal technology projects align to operational standards. Develops alternate requirements or document exceptions as appropriate.

• Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams

• Working with cross functional teams to delivery projects on time and to budget

What you will need:

• At least 8 years of end-to-end Project Management experience in IT Software Implementation Projects for Banking/Capital Markets.

• Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.

• Advanced skills with project management software.

• A bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience – PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.

This is an apprenticeship position within Smiths Detection’s field service team, primarily responsible for traveling to customer sites, 
which are often high-security environments, to maintain and repair Smiths Detection’s X-ray and trace detection equipment using 
hand and power tools. This position requires the development of customer-interaction and team-working skills. It is anticipated that 
apprentices will develop the ability to work semi-autonomously, and outside of day-time business hours from time to time, during 
their second year of experience.

• Attending weekly TAFE course trainings and completing associated educational tasks and activities
• Travelling to customer sites across metropolitan and regional/remote areas, at times requiring long-distance driving, air travel, and hotel accommodation for several days per trip
• Assisting with troubleshooting, servicing and repairing X-ray and trace detection equipment at customer sites and within Smiths Detection’s service centres
• Assisting with completing preventative maintenance tasks according to service contracts and schedules
• Assisting with responding to equipment faults and other corrective maintenance requirements according to service contracts and key performance indicators
• Assisting with testing components and circuitry of X-ray equipment using a multimeter, computer/laptop and the inbuilt equipment-software
• Assisting with diagnosing the root cause of mechanical, electrical and electronics related equipment faults (involving 24 volts or less)
• Assisting with replacing belts, rollers, motors and other mechanical components within X-ray equipment
• Assisting with replacing and manoeuvring X-ray sources (ie. generators) and other heavy parts using lifting aids
• Assisting with inspecting, vacuuming, cleaning, de-greasing, repairing and replacing internal parts
• Assisting with installing new equipment at customer sites, alongside Smiths Detection’s programs and installations teams and various subcontractors and customer-stakeholders
• Completing field service related documentation and reports
• Completing technical, safety, compliance and other job related trainings, online and in-person
• Maintaining a clean/tidy work station and work environment
• Consuming spare parts from the warehouse/storage area and promptly updating the associated records in the IT 
  software tracking system
• Joining regular internal team meetings and safety briefings
• Assisting with ensuring that tools and testing equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Acting as the designated on-call person according to the relevant regional on-call roster, to provide remote and in-person technical support to customers, during second-year – or sooner if competent to do so – and thereafter
