Position Information
Would you like to work for the “2023 Best Places to Work” winner?  We are currently recruiting Relay Merchandisers to assist with ongoing projects for Bunnings Warehouse. Enjoy building relationships with team members to effectively complete your work. Working with your Team Leader you will assist in building and implementing displays. This can be a physical role as shelves are moved. No experience necessary. A car and a valid license is a requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assisting building of fixtures and shelving

·        Executing planograms

·        Merchandising a variety of products for leading brands/clients

·        Ensure pricing and ticketing is correct

·        Report on your work daily

Locations:

·        Bunnings stores across Emerald, Blackwater, Clermont, QLD. Your own transport to each store is required.

Successful candidate requirements:

• Supermarket retail experience is desirable but not essential, no experience necessary
• A current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Must be available Wednesdays and Thursdays (as a minimum)

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing crops including bed preparation, fertilising, sowing and cultivation
• Crop management including herbicide and pesticide application
• Operating broadacre farming plant and equipment including airseeder, precision planter, self-propelled spray unit and other farming equipment
• Maintaining plant and equipment
• General farm duties including fencing, repairs and maintenance
• Meeting work health and safety requirements

To be successful in this position:

• You will be physically fit, with a good level of general fitness to meet the physically demanding requirements of the role
• You will hold a current drivers’ licence
• You will be open to ongoing training and development including vocational training
• You will carry out your work as directed in a safe and sensible manner
• You will be flexible and available to work hours and overtime which may vary to meet operational demands
• A positive, can-do attitude is essential
• Previous experience working on a broadacre farming operation, and operating machinery will be highly regarded however is not essential for candidates displaying the right attitude

Applicants with prior experience, or a background in agriculture will be highly regarded for this position.

• A competitive above award hourly rate dependent on your previous experience, skills, and qualifications
