• Undertake duties safely and contribute to the safety of others through involvement in BOP’s, Risk Assessments, and Incident Reporting
• Provide relevant licences and permits to supervisor where required.
• Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing where specified on Operators Instruction sheets.
• Advise Supervisors or Technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance or People issues.
• Work effectively to ensure quality products are produced in a timely manner and in a cost-effective way.
• Housekeeping of workstations during shift, with a final clean up at the end of the shift.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Have experience working in or want to work in 24/5 and later 24/7 operations.
• Have experience working within extrusion, blow/injection moulding or thermoforming within plastics manufacturing environment.  
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Adjust, calibrate, and test equipment at the beginning of every shift to ensure proper pressure, speed, temperature, and general operation.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and trouble shoot issues whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safety, effectively and productively.
• Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
• Superior communication skills. A team player, with the ability to communicate and connect across all levels at Site.

           Valid Australia Work Right Entitlements are required. 

• Develop and maintain a strategic plan for targeting key companies and projects in each design area.
• Provide technical support and specifications to key specifiers.
• Actively seek and secure high-value specification projects.
• Deliver professional presentations on Sika products and solutions to key consultants.
• Maintain a product sample kit for use in meetings.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities to specifiers.
• Provide technical solutions based on Sika product combinations.
• Collaborate with sales teams and attend regular meetings.
• Manage and update project specifications in the CRM system.
• Liaise with the sales team to support the sales process.

  • Assist development of approaches for competency and leadership assessment, and development solutions to address these gaps
• Strategic Workforce Planning Support:
  • Facilitate key components of the strategic workforce planning process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on workforce trends and projections
  • Contribute to the development of action plans that address skills gaps and future capability needs
• Talent and Succession Management:
  • Support talent identification and development initiatives, helping to manage talent pools and track progression paths
  • Data management, analysis and coordination activities to enable succession planning activities
