About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on a FIFO roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, and supporting operational teams to achieve a safe and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advice and support on workplace health and safety to management and site personnel.
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
Investigate incidents and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
Deliver health and safety training to employees and contractors.
Monitor and report on safety performance, preparing detailed reports as required.
Support the development and implementation of Health and Safety Management Systems.

Requirements:

Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
Previous experience in a FIFO Health and Safety role, preferably in (industry, e.g., mining or construction)
Strong understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
