Job Profile

As our newly appointed Senior Legal Counsel you will provide high quality and timely legal advice across all business areas with a focus on Clinigen products and services. Responsible for the JAPAC region, based in our Sydney or Singapore office, you will be working with our other offices in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, China and Japan.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate overall corporate objectives and support strategy while ensuring compliance with applicable law and regulations.
• To act with the highest integrity at all times and in line with the Company handbook, Clinigen’s values and culture, to provide a best in class service.
• Set appropriate priorities with clients and deliver results within agreed timelines.
• Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to manufacturing and supply agreements and distribution agreements.
• Oversee compliance and manage risk including disputes and litigation proceedings on a cross-border basis.
• Assisting in driving key global projects.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to identify business opportunities.
• Provide commercial, regulatory, privacy and advertising advice.
• Provide advice in relation to the company’s interactions with HCPs, HCOs and patient advocacy groups/organisations.
• Support of Clinigen products and licensed products, and advice in relation to company’s relationships with third party distributors.

·         Qualified lawyer.

·         Private practice training and post-qualification experience with leading law firm.

·         Experience of in-house legal department ideally in the pharma/biotech sector.

·         Min 5 years PQE with demonstratable experience of providing legal advice in a highly-regulated environment.

·         Self-motivated, well organised, proactive and pragmatic.

·         Excellent communication skills and a team player.

·         Logical minded with an eye for detail.

·         Capacity for periodic travel in the JAPAC region is a requirement of this role.

• Monthly management of accounts including month end, reconciliations, journals, and accruals.
• Preparation of monthly reporting packages
• Preparation of Statutory Reporting & Compliance
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register

You'll be an integral member of our committed Customer Service team, serving as the frontline ambassadors of NPDL and consistently elevating the customer experience. As the initial point of contact for both import and export customers, you'll play a crucial role in refining and enhancing our overall customer service standards. Your contributions will directly contribute to the ongoing improvement and elevation of the customer experience at NPDL.

What you will be doing:

• Cultivating and nurturing collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Timely dispatching of booking confirmations to customers as per agreed-upon timelines.
• Preparation of comprehensive documentation, including bookings, container releases, and submission of cargo receival advice for customers and shippers.
• Facilitating slot cover bookings for transhipment cargo on connecting vessels.
• Generating and submitting booking reports to third-party vessel operators.
• Attaching shippers' SLI to electronic documents and updating bookings based on this documentation.
• Conducting auto-rate assessments on bookings before handing them over to the Documentation team, and promptly addressing any rate discrepancies with the Sales team.
• Ensuring cargo readiness, including obtaining necessary approvals (DG and BBK OOG), uplifting empty containers, and ensuring cargo is in port for loading.
• Arranging late receivals as needed.
• Sending both preliminary and final PRA load lists to vessel planners.
• Reconciling the load list against PRA after the vessel has sailed, updating our ERP system, and providing the finalized load list to the Documentation team.
• Obtaining prior shipment approval, following NPDL SOP, for all hazardous cargo.
• Responding to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Performing additional duties as required.

The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for generating new business sales revenue. This will be achieved through account planning, territory planning, working with Nexthink partners, using business development techniques and field-based sales activities.

Your role

• Achieve sales goals and targets for assigned territory on a quarterly and annual basis by:
• Developing a sales strategy in the territory with a target prospect list and a regional sales plan.
• Develop a regional strategy and plan to leverage Nexthink partners while supporting the closure of deals from Switzerland. 
• Developing marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth and pipeline
• Taking a consultative approach with customers by understanding their existing challenges and future strategies to drive the Nexthink solution within the marketplace.
