JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

Team Global Express is currently seeking a HC Truck Driver to commence immediately at our Innisfail Location.  This is a Full Time Permanent Position, where you will have the opportunity to deliver freight and play a key part in servicing our major clients and customers throughout the Region.  

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• This is a Full Time Permanent role, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week (7am Starts)

• Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis

• Weekend Work is also available with this role and will be offered on a need by need basis

• You must hold a current HC licence (or higher). You must also be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles

• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently

• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes

• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames

• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required

• Experience operating Prime Movers and trailers with ambient & temperature-controlled freight

• Loading and unloading pallets as required - some pallet jack use will be necessary

• Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy

• Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks

• Please Note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position

The Role

We have several full-time permanent positions available for Dairy Technicians to join the ASX-listed Bega group business in Wetherill Park. The role aims to enhance the site's mechanical and electrical systems capabilities to increase overall equipment efficiency.

This position is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance with an excellent shift pattern that supports your personal and professional growth.

You'll be working 12.5-hour shifts, both day and night, on a rotational basis. The shift pattern is structured to be three days on, one day off, three days on, and then seven days off, allowing you to pursue your personal interests while maintaining a fulfilling career.

Our Wetherill Park site in Sydney is our Milk Based Beverages (MMB) hub for the eastern seaboard. The site manufactures fresh and extended shelf-life products, including our short-pack format MBB and Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) long-life unrefrigerated (unrefrigerated) milk. This state-of-the-art facility has benefited from past and ongoing large-scale investment and produces 75 million litres of some of Australia's most loved dairy products, including Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Big M.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections.

• Plan and coordinate the testing and inspection of products and processes and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy

• Ensure all work is carried out per safe engineering practices, as well as legal and food safety requirements.

• Understand benchmarking and implement plans for continuous improvement opportunities

• Prioritize safety above all else and support a safety-first culture

About you

• Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Electrotechnology and Electrical Licence is necessary.

• Experience in beverage or food manufacturing would be an advantage.

• Strong ability to find fault and root cause of electrical/mechanical breakdowns

• High-level skills in process improvement with analytical ability and strategic problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships at all levels

We are looking for a seasoned Sales & Marketing leader to drive the newly transitioned property to success, making it’s mark on Brisbane. Could this be you?

As our Sales and Marketing Manager, you would be at the forefront of bringing the distinctive Mercure brand to life as well as:

• Developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies that not only meet but exceed revenue targets
• Leading and inspiring a team of dedicated sales and marketing professionals, whilst fostering high performance and productivity
• Take charging of our digital marketing efforts, including social media management and SEO optimization. Craft engaging content, manage online advertising campaigns, and leverage social media platforms to enhance our brand's online presence
• Identify and nurture relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and travel agencies to foster loyalty and growth
• Being market savvy by keeping a keen eye on market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to adapt strategies for continued success
• Collaborating seamlessly with other hotel departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities
• Showcasing your event mastery by overseeing the planning and execution of events, promotions, and marketing campaigns to elevate our brand presence

The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill has a great opportunity for a distribution and strategy loving Revenue Manager with a naturally analytical mind. Our ideal candidate works autonomously, has confidence in their decision-making ability, strong problem-solving skills and can communicate strategy to key stakeholders.

The Revenue Manager will report directly to the General Manager and liaise with Regional Director of Revenue & Channel Performance, and Hotel Department Heads.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Work closely with the Sales Team to maximise revenue and achieve targets
• Analyse market and hotel specific trends in order to accurately forecast future demand and apply strategies
• Ascertain and implement the ideal business mix for the Hotel
• Ensure optimal presence for business opportunities through brand websites, third party websites, CRO and GDS
• Use your strong analytical skills to correlate data from multiple sources
• Create and analyse reports, and utilise these results to make strategic decisions
• Utilise Opera PMS, EzRMS, OTA Insight and the Accor distribution system on a daily basis
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks

The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join the team. This position reports to the General Manager, collaborates closely with the Hotel leadership team, and is responsible for providing full financial and accounting support for Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill.

The Financial Controller is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Department to maximise the Hotels’ profitability and overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Operating as business partner with Hotel Leadership team to achieve financial performance of the Hotel
• Directly accountable for all financial information sent to the General Manager, Accor and Owners in regard to presentation, accuracy and detail
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes for the Hotel
• Ensure that all Management Agreement and Owners Corporation matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner – with accuracy and attention to detail
• Monitor financial performance against forecasts and budgets, analyse variances, and evaluate key performance indicators
