Overall Purpose of the Role
Xodus is currently under-going a multi-year internal Operation System transformation, one that future proofs the organisation, aligns with our strategic vision, enhances our digital and data analytics capability and delivers companywide system efficiencies. As Xodus’ business expands and the world becomes more digitally connected, we will ensure our business operating system (XBOS) has the agility and resilience to meet our company’s needs.
In Q1 2024, Xodus be rolling out a new XBOS to the global business. The new system will enable core business functions such as Human Resources, Finances, Business Development and Customer Relationship Management, contracts management, opportunity / proposal / project management, and enterprise intelligence. The delivery and subsequent support and feature enhancement phases of the project require a motivated application support analyst to support the roll-out, maintenance and feature enhancements of the integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities
The role will report into the XBOS Product Owner as they will take decision-making accountability for the business operating system. The Application Support Analyst will work closely with IT & Cyber Security and Digital & Data to ensure compliance with infrastructure, governance and security requirements of the digital technology within the XBOS ecosystem. Supporting resources and services such as Data Science, Solution Architecture including Security, Software Development, Collaboration Architecture, etc will come from IT & Cybersecurity and Digital & Data teams.
Primary Duties
- Provide front-line support for tickets raised relating to the business operating system
- Responding to requests and incidents reported by users, aiming to resolve issues in line with agreed service levels providing advice and guidance to application end users.
- Monitoring application logs and error messages, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Executing small projects to make improvements and provide support for larger projects as required.
- Managing application configuration, user accounts and application support documentation.
- Work with the XBOS Product Owner to design and implement changes
- Produce reports and dashboards from business data for end users based on a variety of business needs
- Work with vendors of 3rd party applications within the XBOS ecosystem to coordinate updates, changes and bug fixes
- Work with IT and the Integration Architect(s) to implement updates to the XBOS solution
- Assist in documenting the evolution of the business operating system
- Assist with data ETL for business operating systems, including sensitive HR data
- Understand personal data protection principles and work in accordance with data privacy principles of the company

- Understand integration methods between web based applications and integration middleware.
Skills, Behaviours & Experience
- 2+ years of application support experience.
- Proactive personality – able to work autonomously and as a team player with good prioritisation skills.
- Strong communicator – able to document clearly and share information with others.
- Strong database development and maintenance skills in SQL
- Experience in working with SharePoint (favourable)
