The Compensation benefits managers is responsible for the operational implementation and management of Thales compensation strategy to ensure we have an effective and compliant reward solution. The Opportunity

To do this successfully you will:

• Assess and settle health insurance claims arising from policies in force
• Make recommendations on policies and guidelines to group health insurance claims
• Liaise with members and other third parties during investigation and negotiation to seek guidance on the course of action that serves the best interest of AIA
• Process all health insurance claims documents timely
• Answer inquires relating to claims processing

The purpose of the Facilities Manager role is to manage the flagship asset of the PDNSW portfolio, ensuring a consistent standard and best practice approach in the delivery of Facilities Management services. This role will manage client relationship obligations and act as an escalation point where required. The Facilities Manager is expected to foresee and take proactive management of issues to mitigate and escalate any potential risks. This role will contribute to the consistent and best practice approach to account delivery across the client portfolio, following contractual obligations and C&W policies.

About the role:

• The role requires you to be onsite 5 days a week.

• Looking for someone to take ownership of the asset.

• Managing all hard service and equipment in the building

• Understand importance of planned preventative maintenance and able to identify any gaps in the services.

• Manage site operations, including scheduled and ad-hoc works, to ensure continuity of property services with minimum disruption to client business operations.

• Manage and control budget and cost expenditure to contractual requirements for facilities management operations, for both preventative and reactive maintenance works at nominated sites

• Monitor and implement asset management and ensure all preventative maintenance services are captured and delivered in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines / legislative requirements and site asset requirements

• Conduct property condition audits as per contract requirements

• Identify and support implementation of cost saves, innovation, and best practice

• Ensure that safety measures and systems are implemented in accordance with relevant legislation, policy, compliance, and customer safety requirements

• Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for the tasks associated with the works

• Proactively conducts regular stakeholder meetings to drive engagement, collaboration, and continual improvement through shared learnings

• With a focus on client experience, effectively manage all client, landlord and supplier partner relationships

• Manages the budget and financial performance of the portfolio

• Provides input into annual FM budget preparation and quarterly forecasts.

About You:

• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a Facilities Building Manager – both non-technical asset type and technical asset type 

• Knowledge of software systems relative to commercial property

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong client focus and customer experience mindset essential

• Trade qualified with minimum of 4 years’ experience highly desirable.

• Excellent attention to detail skills

• Excellent time management skills

The TAL Partnerships team is a team focused on ensuring our superannuation partners receive excellent service across their relationship with TAL. We have a permanent opportunity available as a Partnership Manager working within the Major Accounts Portfolio.

Reporting to the General Manager, Partnerships, and Industry Funds, you will support the relationship with Tier 1 clients, manage operational and strategic account plans while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across peers at TAL.

In this role you will: 

• Deliver high quality services to clients in accordance with our administration agreements, other contractual or stated commitments
• Maintain strong and effective stakeholder relationships across peers at TAL to ensure that the enterprise is able to deliver on our client commitments
• Understand TAL’s strategy at an Enterprise level and awareness of relevant matters in other Life Insurance Channels

• Respond to queries where answer is clearly stated within existing policy documentation
• Respond to queries where basic interpretation is required or precedent is available to draw upon, otherwise refer to a more senior member of staff where interpretation is required
• Provide/review initial drafting of Policy Document Changes
• Work with clients and internal peers in relevant operational areas to design and implement required changes to operational process

• Experience in hospitality venues or fast paced environments is great but not essential

• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon to follow through
