What is the role?

We are looking for an experienced PHP engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and supporting the mod.io REST API.

Your responsibilities include:

• Understanding the technical requirements of game developers, mod creators, payment providers and stores.
• Helping define the solution architecture.
• Working alongside our frontend, API and integration development teams to understand, define and develop our REST API to fit their needs.
• Designing the APIs to ensure content remains synced and design a system that games can hook into for updates.
• Testing and implementing your APIs.
• Ensuring the APIs are scalable and secure - your API will be used by thousands of concurrent players all around the world.
• Keeping your house clean, your code may be open sourced on Github and must be well documented for our community to fork and adapt as they need.

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Engineer with:

• 5+ years PHP experience working with Laravel.
• Experience with NoSQL key-stores such as Redis & relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL).
• Experience with data modelling for high throughput database activity and a strong understanding of which workloads and data access patterns are scalable and what datastore the data should reside in.
• An ability to write clean, robust and reusable code, as well as mentor and review the code of other backend engineers
• A strong understanding of RESTful API’s.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services’ such as S3, Lambda, SNS, SES, SQS, EC2, RDS.
• The ability to take a concept from design to a functional, usable release.

About the role

In this role you will lead, plan and coordinate transport (storage and transport moves), container park operations whilst maintaining a high level of discipline around cost efficiency and business productivity. • Plan and monitor daily operations of the PUD Fleet ensuring freight and container movements in accordance with business requirements, showing great leadership and direction to PUD staff and all stakeholders to ensure high level of on time outcomes.

• Plan and implement container movements based on operational requirements.

• Participate in planning sessions with the Scheduler and Warehouse team to meet customer service requirements.

• Provide guidance and direction to PUD staff and Reach Stacker Operators.

• Maintain up to date information within the WAVE, 1-Stop and Container Chain systems.

• Consider and assist with allocation of equipment to whole of network users.

• Ensure dangerous goods are handled correctly through the container park and regulations are adhered to.

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in fleet operations in Transport ideally in the intermodal/wharf industry

• Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S Legislative and Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Safety at Work, Fatigue Management, Mass Management Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility legislative requirements.

• Understanding of the ADG 07 Code.

• Sound knowledge of Wharf Cartage, national rail line haul system, WA Road Transport legislation, regulations and permit network.

• Experience in Materials Handling process and procedures.

The Opportunity

The Team Leader - Sales will be responsible for a team of OES Course Consultants, who provide course consultation services for prospective students - guiding them through their decision-making process and managing the enrolment process.  The Sales Team Leader delivers strong leadership, coaching, support, development, motivation, and performance management to your sales team to deliver on the strategic goals of the business. The Team Leader is also responsible for providing management with reports and plans on improvements for enrolment conversions and working with other departments to optimise results. 

The role is broad in scope and requires a high degree of initiative, motivation, and self-management. 

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, support and provide feedback to enhance and develop a sales team in a fast-paced environment  
• A demonstrated commitment to exemplary sales principles and management of sales pipelines 
• Experience in interpreting data, and developing sales remedial plans 
• Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and lead group of salespeople to achieve targets and KPIs  
• Ability to positively contribute to the development of a culture that maximises employee and student engagement 
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to facilitate the provision of advice and support required by both staff and students 
• Demonstrated high-level computer literacy including the use of e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications and capacity to learn new programs; Salesforce experience is preferable
• Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination or relevant experience and/or education and training is preferred 
• Experience in an administrative role coordinating of a range of functions including provision of advice about, and interpretation of policies and procedures, in a tertiary education institution would be an advantage.
